| RayRay says I clean my RzR, too much and too good. Wonder what he will say about my 15yr old John Deere ??? The Only reason it looks as bad as it does, is I bought it used. | |

| How DO you keep your ride looking so nice? What is your "post ride regimen"? | |

| Punder, I am the yard guy. I can barely afford gas for the mower. sure can't afford to pay someone else to do it. They probably wouldn't do it good enough either. | |

| mrwvsportsman,
I pressure wash it removing all mud and stringy grass stuff.
prob. 2hrs worth counting the car wash to knock off the top layer when
bringing it home.
then i spray chasis and all black plastic with mean green and let sit for about 15 minutes
hand wash it all. shocks is really the only chasis part i hand wash
pressure rince hitting the chasis good.
spary armorall like silicone underneath and chasis. and just let it dry on there.
armorall tires ,fender flares and black plastic.
wipe off color plastic with dry towel.
Done.
if I plan to do maintenance, I stop after pressure wash and hand wash
and do final detail after repairs or maintenance.
Thanks, Craig | |

| I like to keep my rzr clean in between rides because sometimes it may stay in the garage for a couple months before my next ride. The guys I ride with give me a hard time over how clean it is when we go riding. Your ride looks great. And so does the lawn tractor. | |

| Thanks for the info! Looks great! Do you use the armorall tire foam or just regular Armorall? I tried the tire foam on the color plastic of the Vinson I used to have one time, and it looked like crap. | |

| no regular armorall
i usally just wipe down the color plastic, and the over spray armorall thats on it from the hitting the black makes the colored parts look just as good as the black. kinda hides the scratches and rub marks from limbs.
I also try to remove any scratches with 3 step novus plastic wax.
Thanks for the compliments.
I like to clean it like this because that's when I see everything well and can catch things before they become a (broke down on the trail issue)
Thanks, Craig | |

| BigBen,
once i get the mud and dirt moved to the rear of the pan. I use a
regular water hose to wash it out of skid. once its in one location the pressure washer is no good. too much pressure throws crap everywhere.
regular water pressure you can control and wash all the stuff out .
Would be cool if you could cut a square section of skid out in the middle, hinge and latch it on the top side, where you could open it and wash all the crap out and shut it back. but I don't think it would take the punishment that we put these thing through.probably last about 10 minutes foor most of us. lol but still would be nice if you could. | |
