| Ooooh. Got ya. Well in that case. On long travel I would get the super ATv s set up. They may have a deal on shocks. Also EMP may have some take off stuff as well. |

| some standard width (50") RZR's have Walker Evans shocks, which are probably just as good as some Fox shox. The only affordable options out there for under $500 are: SuperATVs standard rate and heavy duty rate coil over springs for around $190 for a whole set. EMP or one of those other popular SxS accessory online stores has a set of coil springs that contains a pair of linear rate springs for the front and a pair of progressive rate springs for the rear. However its around $450 for the entire set. It suppose to be one of the best spring replacement kits for the stock shocks. I personally think thats a little pricey for a set of coil springs. Also a brand called Progressive makes affordable replacement shocks for the RZR. I've heard mixxed reviews on em, but its suppose to be a lot better than the stock shocks. I think a set for front and rear runs around $500. Also Suzuki's LTR 450r and Honda's TRX 450r front shocks will work on the front of the RZR and run about $250 a pair on Ebay. Yamaha YZ 125's rear shock will work on the rear of a RZR. They are about $200 to $250 on Ebay. The good thing about those shocks is that they have a little bit more adjustments on em and they are nitrogen charged. | |

Well i've been doing some research for the last 4 to 5 months on trying to make mine ride a little better without breaking the bank or upgrading to an S kit. But to be honest its really hard to find anything under $1200 that will make a dramatic difference. I have tried the SuperATV heavy duty springs (150lbs front, 225lbs rear) and it gave it about an inch or so lift, but it made it ride a lot stiffer. So a few months ago I put the standard rate springs on. (125lbs front 200lbs rear) The 125 lb springs for the front is about as good as its probably gonna get with the stock shocks. I'm very pleased with the improvement on the front. I like the 200 lb springs for the rear better than the 225 lb heavy duty springs, however there still room for a lot of improvement. From my readings online, it sounds like a progressive rate spring is the best way to go for the rear without swapping the stock shocks. Of course, if I was to do it all over again, I would have an S or an XP sitting in my shed and I wouldn't be on here crying about my stock shocks!

| If you can find some take off Walker Evans from a WE LE RZR, you might want to get 'em. They ride awsome and it is amazing what 1 click of adjustment will do. | |

its probably for 1 shock King Shocks are some HIGH Dollar shocks. Believe me I've priced some. You can get some entry level Elka shocks for around $1300 and some AFCO's for around $1300. Thats the cheapest I've found for the big name brand shocks.

| I unhooked my front sway bar when I first bought mine and it made a huge difference in the ride....I unhooked the rear tonight and it made it even better.
It had a little more roll to it but I put 2 clicks in on the W/E shocks and now it aint bad....I have 1.5 spacers on now but 2.5 going on Wed. That should make it a little more stable also.

| Yeah I put 1" spacers on the back and that helped a little too. I can't understand why the Polaris Sportsmans ride like a Cadillac but yet the standard RZR rides are kind of So So. You would think with the longer wheel base it would be more plush than its atv counterpart (Sportsman). My old Sportsman 500 rides a lot better than my RZR. | |

| Get with HRR (James) he'll set u up with the LT 450 shocks n springs cheaper than any other set up (revalved, set for ur weight n style of riding). I've got them, can't beat the price or performance, I drive the he'll out of mine n don't bottom out, been very airborn with my rzr (was accidental). He's the go to man for suspension n everything else as well. | |

Jet...I would say that the only reason to put spacers on a S is if you put a big lift on it....I put a 2 inch lift on mine tonight and that's the main reason for the 2.5 spacers replacing the 1.5"s

| I had a Elka suspension on a Sportman I had , very satisfied , they came in cheaper than works ..... But just depending on what you are looking for a good start would be the springs that james offers from super ATV , the stock suspension the springs is what fails , sooo try some springs if that does not give you the ride you are looking for there will be someone along to take the springs off your hands to move up in suspension . I have James shocks on my RZR and pretty sasifited with the ride .... | |

unhook the front sway bar...if you like the ride then unhook the rear....way better ride I done the same thing...and turned my stock rzr shocks on the third click( I also have super atv springs on them) it gives the rzr more articulation on the trails....I was told by super atv that the sway bars are basically for the flat roads and the dunes...

| Why the heck are aftermarket shocks so friggin expensive? And to top it off, a lot of them have to be rebuilt after a certain period of time. | |

| No kidding. I would love some nice shocks but they are way outta the ballpark on what Id like to spend. I put a set of Makin Trax progressive springs on mine and they made a difference. Gained over an inch in clearance and handle bumps and whoops much better. They are stiffer but worth it to not have to hammer the brakes everytime you come to a dip. | |
