Me & a few of my rzr riding buds from work rode about all the black trails @ Indian Ridge & Pinnacle Creek HMT a couple of weeks ago. Had a blast ! Also you can get your 2012 HMT pass starting this week there @ the Ashland Resort C/G store. I always get mine on our Thanksgiving weekend ride.

| They need to go to the next step and approve all trails except the single tracks for sxs usage in all of the systems, then I would be excited but this is a start.
I've thought it would be interesting to ride from one end to the other through the whole system.

| I checked all trail maps and only a couple of black from like bear wallow and buffalo mtn are the only ones not open to SxS's
Just my opinion ,but I have rode the red and black extreme trails on atv and you don't want on there if you could with a side x side. Some places where insane on atv....

| i have rode only hmt while down there i have never had the privledge to ride "outlaw" trails. basically due to not knowing where i was going...i have rode most of the black trails that are approved to utv's and for the most part they arent anything to crazy. alot of them compare to our basic trails here around home. as far as helmets go they do require helmets and as far as beer goes..they say no and say they have rangers patroling the trails..in 4 years now i havent seen a single ranger..we were sneaking on the black trails before they were approved with no issue...back to the beer thing you know ppl drink beer on the trails...ppl are too iggnorant to take their cans with them and you see them laying all over along the trails...also it aint nothing to ride up on a group of ppl sitting there drinking a beer and not a single one of them have a helmets..get to talking to some of the groups of ppl it seems to be the locals are usually ones without helmets and drinking beer like they dont have a care in the world. it is us "tourist" that come in that buy the permit wear the helmets aint drinking....
just my observation from nearly 2800 miles of riding down there...

| I've been to 4 of the 6 HMT trail systems. And I will say RockHouse in Gilbert is the best one. Its long (90 to 100 miles), whole bunch of hills, great views, tons of switchbacks, lots of conveniences, and probably the most atv friendly place I have ever been to. It makes a great 3 day get away. I've been there 4 times in the last 2 years and it never gets old to me. Indian Ridge and Pinnacle Creek are okay, but if the Outlaw trails were not in between those two, I would probably not go there very often. If they could make each one of those trail systems about 30 to 40 miles longer, then they would really have something! 60 to 70 miles just ain't cutting it. Thank God for the Outlaw trails. | |

| I always take my favorite beverage on the H/M trails but I don't drink until I'm stopped...that way I can hear if someones coming and then just hide it. Cokes always on top and Bud-lite in the bottom of the cooler. DATZ RITE!!! | |
