| I see I have put a small hole in my front left outer cv boot. I have the kit # from a yamaha site for all the parts for like $55. Does that sound good and how big of a job is it? I'm good at working on things just didn't if there were any good old tricks to it before I start and where would you or have you gotten you cv boots from? Thanks | |

| I just replaced the front inner boots on the Rzr, very easy. Hopefully yours will be also. Make sure to have plenty of grease rags! |

| get extra grease because you must take the inner boot off to change the one outer one. take the boot clamps off do NOT CUT THEM. you can use a straight screw driver to pry the locking flaps up on the clap. after you get the boot off of the inner CV clean all the grease out as possible and you will see a cir clip at the end of the CV housing. use a straight screw driver to pop it out. the CV will come out now. now remove the snap ring from the end of the axle. pull the CV off axle and be careful not to lose the balls. if a ball falls out it will it back in. now take the other boot off. put new boot on then reverse the process.
the boot kit will come with new claps but with most kits you will need a special tool to get them tight.
if you have more ??? just ask. i have done this many times. |

| Depending on the size of the hole you could use some silicone to seal it. I have done this before and has worked great. | |
