| Come down by stairsteps and the old wagon wheel store. Go threw the creeks and youll come to a T in the trail called beer can split. Take a left at the T. Just stay on the that and your gonna cross the creek 10 or more times. At the last creek crossing when you come out of it youll come up a little hill and there will be a trailer on your left. Bear to your left and cross the bridge. You will be on the Indian Ridge / Pinnacle connector for a short bit. A road cuts off this to the right and crosses another bridge. Take that all the way up till it ends at the haul road. Take a right on the haul road and less than a mile down will be a trail on your left. There was a little white sign there advertising a resturaunt but it may be gone. As you make a left on the trail there will be a hill climb to your left. Thats really the only thing I can tell you to look for. Its a good ways out threw there and a few trails will branch off of it but if you stick to the main trail it will take you to Welch. At Charlie Reed junction bear rigjt down the hill. You will come down by the big green Welch water tank. When you come outta the woods cross the bridge and take a left on the blacktop and it will take you into town. | |

| Thanks for the directions, between them and a gps I'm sure we will get lost. How long dose it take to go from the haul road to welch? If you go through the first couple creeks and take a left up the hill, and come out on a road , is that the same haul road as the one your talking about. I like to ride the outlaw trails, and have never had any problems, but is there any where that we should avoid or steer clear of ? I hate banjo music. Thanks | |

| Prob takes a hour or so of straight riding to get from haul road to Welch. I think the left your talking about is 9 mile ridge which bypasses all the creeks and drops you out at the last creek crossing by the trailer. No where to avoid. If theres a trail in front of you, ride it. Just carry your bow and arrow with you in case anybody tries to make you squeal like a pig. | |
