There is nothing wrong with the power of the wildcat. It's not like Tbone says. Not a big diference between it and the xp on the trails I rode one on. XP feels more powerful because of the shorter wheelbase and that you are setting right on the rear tires. As I said before, it's the wheelbase that really sets the two apart, not the engines. Hard cornering at the flick of the wheel and stab at the throttle goes to the XP, smoothest ride and faster through the rough stuff goes to the wildcat. It's a tradeoff like anything else.
Watch this video........I see a big difference. Horrible power out of wildpussy
I still wouldnt buy anything for a while. Too much going on right now. I know Pooplaris is going to roll something out. Would love to see Yamaha do something. For wildpussy being the new flagship of AC they should of put some power in her. I will say for what your getting in a wildpussy, its not such a bad deal. Coming with power steering is GREAT.

I think everyone would agree that the Maverick is going to out run everything if that is what you are after.I like the Maverick but not the 4wd system.

Bobby, I couldn't keep up with you on a trail you choose even if I had a Maverick. I have done some driving on a few of those trails just keeping you in sight. Scary at times. We were over the 40mph mark. Power wise, the rhino is not very far off the rzr where top speed is not a factor.
Tbone, those videos are a joke. Several lengths in a straight line flat race = nothing on the trails we ride where you are only full throttle in short bursts from time to time. I'm sure it feels good though.
I don't know if I will have the balls to run as hard in the rhino as I did the rzr, I sure did feel safe in it. I'm not in it to race, but to be able to put my tools away for a while, keep up with the group, and just ride.
If I didn't have a rhino, I would have a Wildcat. If I had Tboners money, I would add a Wildcat to the garage.

Those videos are the truth. They take the machines and show them.
The maverick is the king on all terrain just like the video says.

so far I have 2100 miles on my commander that I got March 2012 with no issues so I like can-am. If i could get a new machine it would be a either a new commander or a maverick

:lol!:You did the right thing. But, I just thought I would let you know that all of it was Tbone's fault. I don't know how. I will figure that out later.
Back to the XP vs Wildcat. Here's my latest on that....I'm not in this to have the fastest machine, and if I can't keep up with the group in a Wildcat, I figure I need to find new people to ride with unless it's a race for fun. I would take a Wildcat over the XP for sure. I like the ride, and how it feels on the trail. Power is enough for me. Only thing is I would like them more if they were a foot shorter.

We don't have Lincoln money around here. But, the one I drove rode like Grandma Given's Crown Vic.
