| What in the heck is going on with RZR S's? I have noticed at many dealerships over the past 8 months that they all have tons of them. All of them are reduced to cost to get rid of them. That's the number one selling side by side model out there.
I can't figure it out so I am asking here. There are some my great deals on a new RZR S these days. |

| Because there is a new trail legal machine coming out and people want to try something new, guess they are tired of replacing bushings/ bearings/ tie rods/ an ball joints after every ride!! so thats why polaris is trying to sue arctic cat! get a life!! po po go back to the drawing board and build something that lasts more than 300 miles before you replace it |

| I think Polaris is slow to react to changing sales mix. It happens in all businesses. Dealers keep ordering S models and Polaris keeps making them. This occurs until inventory builds. | |

| I figure people that were interested in the Rzr-S are going with the Rzr XP 1000s instead. |

MMM , Seems Polaris was in that market in mid 07 being the first 50" RZR( and still makes that same model today ) , then expanded to the S model while Artic Cat was building a 1000 cc ATV ?... Where was Artic cat then ? Sure , Polaris has never been know for building a tank of a machine , but few went as fast , rode as hard as the RZR , so yes stuff breaks when it is actually used . I am not saying that the New Wildcat in not a good , or fast , hell even a awsome machine , but when it has as many machines on the ground as polaris then , and only then can you compare the two on that basis .

Meet the performance east longest sitting machine in history. Been there for almost 2 years. We all call him "shreck" since he has been there so long. He's been there way longer than those rzr's. Just FYI http://www.ncpowersports.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?veh=315453&pov=2846092 |

| 1) I think polaris has a serious issue with their pricing. The RZR S price Lines up with an OTD price on a base maverick or wildcat. Both of those machines way outclasses the S. The 900 RZR line prices with the maverick xrs and wildcat x. once again polaris is outclassed. Then the rzr 1k which is really most competitive with the wildcat x and maverick is priced in a league of it's own. The new 50 inch wildcat is priced competitve with the rzr 570 and is a better machine.
2) I think the 800 as we know it is on it's way out. I bet soon there will be a somewhat redesigned budget rzr lineup with a de-tuned 900 at about 70 horse give or take.
I also think it is pretty sad that polaris has decided to sue AC. If I was in the market for a new machine right now I would hesitate to buy a polaris just because I don't like the way they are handling the competition. instead of manning up and building a better machine they sue the competition. They already got a freebie from yamaha since yamaha had to take all the product liability heat.

| I think the price of the S is so close to that of the base 900 that most people are just going ahead and getting the 900. Once you spend $13k what's another $2k? You get alot more machine for that extra money. | |

| I wonder how long it will take for Arctic cat to put a long travel on the 50 incher and make a 60 inch wide RZR S killer. | |

That's right. Get tons more power, better control arm design with a little less maintenance, way better gc, and more travel for only $12 more a month. Hell yeah!
