| Subject: Rhino owners, Oil Pan question if you please?? November 11th 2009, 7:10 pm | |
| When I changed oil on me buggy, Rhino 450, 2009, the dang drain plug for the oil pan was spring loaded. I have not clue on earth why this spring is there?? I can't even remember if I've already asked this before, but have any of you guys found this on yours?? |

| Neuromax, and others, found out on another board that the spring holds an oil strainer. Strainer has a habit of staying up in the engine during oil changes. It is unique to the 450 only it seems. Thanks man. |

| the 450s are the only rhino that has it. my kodaik 450 had it also. the 450 has two drain holes. one has the spring with the screen the other is just a bolt. the screen is like a old school filter for the oil. my old honda 200atc has the same setup. makes it hard the get the plug back in without cross threading it. |
