| Has anyone had a problem with play when you changed the wheel bearings out? I put new bearings in my front diff and while I had it apart I changed the tie rod ends and the wheel bearings. There was nothing wrong with the old wheel bearings but I changed them anyway since I had it tore down. Well I put every thing back together and you can grab the top of the tire and wiggle it back and forth. There's prob. 1/2 to 3/4" of play in it. So I took the hub and spindle back off. The hub is not even turning the bearing. The hub isn't wore out. There is .014" of gap between the inside of the bearing, and the outside of the hub. I am very baffled. Both front wheels do the same thing. Sorry this is an '09 RZR | |

| do you have the axle nut tight? they should be 2 washers on each side behind the nut (between the nut and hub) and if i remember right they are cone shaped washers and only go on one way. |

| Yes. Everything is tight and the washers are on. but I have the hub and spindle out and you can see the movement between the bearing and hub. Doesn't make sense. | |

| i do remember it being weird on how the hub goes into the spindle. when you put the axle into the spindle there should be a gap between it and the bearing and once you put the hub on the axle, part of the hub should go and fill that gap. |

| Right. But when you put the hub into the bearing there's alot of play. The hub is not even turning the bearing, it just spins inside of the bearing. | |

| Yep. Thats it. I guess I'm going to have to go to the dealer and try another bearing or hub to see whats wrong. Its wierd 'cause both front wheels are doing that, not just one. | |

| No, its not broke. I only have about 700 miles on it. But I know they can break anytime. But the hub is not even grooved or shouldered. | |

| I found a Moose wheel bearing kit at cheap cycle parts. Is Moose supposed to be a better brand or are they made in China also. | |

| i have run moose bearings in the rhino for years. last just as long as stock.
but if you got the stock bearings and there the same as the ones you took out you have a problem somewhere else. |

| Are you sure it`s the wheel bearings or could it be your ball joints. |
