Has anyone had a problem with the rzr exhaust cracking right by the motor where it goes from two pipes down to one?

Polaris wants 80 or 85 bucks just for the stock replacement. What is so different about the one from an s that it fixes the problem.? I was just going to try and weld mine. I figure it is worth a shot before spending the $$$$$$$

the S head pipe is like a header, one pipe for each cylinder to the exaust. the reg rzr has a Y pipe.

Is a true dual exhaust a possibility on a rzr? I have access to an exhaust bender? I am assuming both pipes would have to be of equal lenth?? Anyone thot about this or tried it

I had mine welded on the first one but it only last so long and it cracked again so I ordered a new one and now it's cracked. The only way to go is get the one that is on the RZR S which is what they are using now on the new base RZR's from what I seen.

Worst part is warranty doesn't even cover it lol. That extended warranty is one of the things I bought for my rzr

HRR found a crack in mine but was planning to change it anyway. The stock y pipe is junk, change it now or waste time/money n do it later!!!!

So far for the money and they seem to last, less restriction, any aftermarket would be $$$$$

For now the s but the stock is better, will last longer. HRR is changing mine(cracked and rewelded) to new s header. My 2 bros exhaust like ALL only adds maybe 2 hp a little torc and alot of extra noise. On the rzr better with stock mine has been repacked twice and is shot, blown apart.

I went with a Super Trapp muffler and FMF header. Have a stock manifold(not cracked) if it helps anyone.

They all sound pretty good. Just pick which one you like! I was planning on adding an s exhaust when mine cracks. It's a matter of time before it cracks too.

It's really hard to find a good used one. I plan to just buy a new one from Carolina Polaris wHen mine cracks. So far I have 80 hours and almost 800 miles on it and it's running good so far
