| We found out at the group spring ride while we were eating at the Sterling Drive In in the town of Welch when we were visited by many po po's including the Chief that a new law went into effect last year that all SXS that are riding on roads in West Va that the laws have changed. 1- You must have a drivers license 2-You must have proof of Insurance 3-You must have a slow moving vehicle sign displayed on the rear of your SXS So I got my FUGLY sign I know it looks like but now I'm legal and won't have to listen to the or worry about a ticket. If you don't have one on your SXS and plan on riding on the roads you better get one

That's where I got mine.I looked online for a smaller one but I did not find any and I don't know if it has to be a one size only thing or not

| Wow, I didn't know that. I had heard about the insurance, but didn't know about the sign. What if you just drive WFO, will you still need it? | |

| Well what if I don't want to be a slow moving vehicle.. Maybe I want to be a fast moving vehicle, so that would be false advertising.. Guess I'll have to come up with a quick detach 1 or something | |

| Ok I just got off the phone with the Welch Police Dept and asked about if the slow moving vehicle signs have to be the big ugly ones or a certain size. The answer was as long as they are reflective and they can be seen from behind by a motor vehicle size doesn't matter so I think a 4"X 4" should be big enough and not look so bad so lets see who can find a place for us to buy some small ones and post here what you find | |

| Ok here is my fix for the big ugly sign.I took my table saw and cut the sign down which now does not look so bad and I can velcro it on and take it off when I want. | |

| On the Tractor Supply website they show an adhesive sticker.
I looked up some of the state regulations with the slow moving vehicle triangle .... seems some states require it on machinery that can't maintain 40km. Maybe we just need to be driving faster when on the road! In WV it is the weight and seat that creates the issue ..... that and the rule has not been changed since before SXS's were available.

| I've heard that the cops around here are telling people they can't have a sxs on the road because it's "not an atv". Everyone here thinks you can't make it legal, guess they aren't telling anyone, so they can write those tickets. I'll spread the word on how to get legal. | |
