- well they said they couldnt locate a leak, but they also said my belt was bad so I had to buy a new belt.. But when I asked to see my old belt they couldnt find it, so after some bitching they gave me another new belt for a spare..
went out a few weeks ago and the same thing happened, screw the warranty its no good around here any way, Im going to pull the secondary and the primary this week and start siliconing This is just my opinion but why dont you try a new belt. You put it on and then out the housing back together yourself as well. Make sure the gasket is clean and its torqued properly. Also make sure the vent tube is not lose and tight as welll. Do all that and give her a shot to see how it does on the next ride. If it does have the same problem then take the cover back off and see if there is evidence of water getting into it. If there is then I would order a new housing and cover with a new gasket. Thats just my thinking and maybe that will help and work |

| I have a new belt on it. I read on some other forums about the rear cover not sealing where the clutch gears come thru that's where I'm going to rtv seal it at | |

| There may be another source for a leak. The clutch cooling air intake duct(located forward of the starter and behind the clutch cover) attaches to the case with a rubber boot. | |

2011 and 2012 I havent heard anything about 2013 models yet, but I have been doing alot of research on this issue.. the back plate that is behind your primary, does not have addiquit seals from the factory and a few of the bolts that hold the back plate on to the motor are not sealed either.. I have read about people sealing it with rtv sealent around the back plate.. best way I can tell yea to find your leaks is to fill your casing up with water, before removal and you can see where its leaking... | |

| All years would leak. Some leaked, and some didn't. Just use the black sealent on every thing back there and it should be good to go. And remember to tighten the bands on the snorks every now and then, and with all the flexing and pounding the RZR take, the durn clamps seem to loosen up over time. Just a couple of minutes with a screw driver or socket every couple of months will keep ya leak free. And I know, as the Joker just can't seem to pass a water or mud hole with out jumping into the middle of it!! | |
