| It seems the gas that we now get has enough ethanol in it to be harmful to fuel lines. It eats the inside of the lines n leaves a gel like substance in the bottom of carbs, don't know the impact on fuel injected models but it must rob power from engine. Stabilize is recommended in every tank of gas that is used. Just food for thought. | |

| Ethanol is not good thats for sure. I buy tons of it.
Most places run 10% and it should be somewhat ok. Just dodge the wholesale retailers like murphy, sheetz, kroger, wa wa, and places like that. They are running 20 to 30% ethanol and that will def test the lines and fuel pump.
Always stick to branded....BP, Shell, Exxon. It will help on this. Stabil is def a great thing! Def heps! |

| Run premium in your machines. Not as much ethanol in it. I know BP doesnt have as much. My wholesale accounts does have 10%.
I run premium in all of my machines and it only costs maybe a dollar more over the bill for regular. I even haul all of my fuel with me. I only run BP gas premium. I do not buy my wholesale fuel at all.
Its not that I dont trust Ashland fuel.......I just know my stuff is good and I dont want anything other than BP. I buy it from every supplier in the Southeast and I know whos gas is crap and whos is good.

| Also if you change your fuel lines, it will solve this problem for older cars and machines.
The newer fuel lines are built to deal with ethanol better than the old stuff. Both of my machies though have not had any problems with it. |

| Don't leave gas in your chain saws, weekeaters, etc that have those little rubber pickup lines in the tanks. It melts them, and you will find out the hard way if you leave gas in them for long. | |

| I run Amsoil Quickshot in every tank burned on the RZR. Suppose to eliminate the problems caused by ethanol | |

| I have had to replace all the fuel lines on the FO-FIDDY!!
I replaced them with clear but they have already started to turn colors and have got hard!! Is this because of the fuel or is this just the type of line?

| both. Fuel will turn them clear lines like that. Just go to autozone or car quest and get you some new black fuel line. You wont have any more problems. |

Hey Super Dave, I noticed you live in Walkertown. Are you buying your gas from that new shiny red store they built there about 8 months ago?? |

| Does anyone sale gas without ethanol? I have upgraded fuel lines on my older stuff with low pressure fuel injection hose, it holds up to the ethanol and has a good psi rating | |

| some do mainly around marinas. Its very rare since the fed government makes us do ethanol to meet our renewable fuel numbers.
Check in areas near the beach and lakes. |

| I believe this ethanol $hit is a government scam to boost the economy. It screws up fuel systems on our cars/trucks/sxs, etc., and alot of people will just go out and trade said vehicle for a new one. And, if you fix it, you have to buy parts. Seems like a way of trying to create more jobs. Only problem is, not many people make enough money to buy all this overpriced crap! It's all about the money.
It's 32 degrees here right now, this global warming is freezing me to death.
Well, I'm gonna shut up. Hitler (Obama) and his nazis (BATFE) are watching everything we type.
Screw this, I'm going to bed.
