| Belive my Policy is like $150 a year full coverage and $1500 in accesories and a $500 deductable thru Markel , never filed a claim and consider it to just be a replacement policy incase of a total loss or gets stolen . I have had the same agent thru State Farm for 20 years and he could not touch the policy I had with Markel but said that he found them to be a solid company ... I pay annually .... | |

| Just got off the phone with Markel.......
610 a year for both. RZR was 120 dollars cheaper than the Commander.
I asked them again how people are having high coverage for only 100 to 150 dollars a year and they said that is non existent. If they are that low then they are skimping somewhere. Its been a long day and I am not getting into it with them. Markel is too high for me. Best stick with progressive and fight it out with them again when the renewal comes in. |

Maybe your insurance company read on here about how you plan to out run the cops/rangers with your SxS!! I'll bet ya a hundred bucks about my annual costs and can mail ya a copy of my insurance to prove it. Just because you can't get the low prices, you don't need to call other people liars that can get the low prices!

| T-Bone, back up and read. I put the amounts of coverage and the deductable on here already. That price was for 3/30/2011 to 3/30/2012. I am always growling at them about my other ins costs, but the RZR ins cost makes up a lil bit for the rest of it. ANd go in and get the snap shots for your cars and trucks. Those things saved me a boat load of cash. But my crazy driveing days are mostly behind me, at least on the highways!! | |

| Red,
I tried to combine them and my homeowners will take my auto but WILL NOT take the ATV's.
You are right...some can be combined but these insurance companies tell me that ATV's are a "specialty" market. Only certain people will touch them. My home is with Unitrin and they have said repeatily no to my ATV's. You may be right and it may be time to change and get them all together. I have a meeting with farm bureau next week and they are one of the companies that will write the whole deal. They will help alot on discounts. For now I am stuck with the yearly battle between progressive, markel, and geico. Take the lowest and there you go. I am getting ready to upload my policy. Its almost 700 dollars a year so I was wrong. This was the best deal I could get for the two by themselves and I know I am getting hosed. I am going to post it so everyone can see what I am talking about. Its a dynamite bulletproof policy.....high limits and great coverage for them both but it comes with a price to pay. I will have it posted in a few. |

All you can get for $100 a year is Liability, which don't cover Jack $hit if your machine gets stolen, crashed, burned up, totaled, etc. You will be stuck with the bill to replace your machine, or pay off the loan if you have one. To me it's well worth the price to insure it with full coverage.

| All I know my full coverage on the RZR has been around $110.00 per year since i got it new. This summer I added liability on a motorcycle to the policy and for what ever reason the full coverage dropped on the RZR and the total on the 2 were right around 100 bucks a year..... That's FULL coverage on the RZR and liability on the motorcycle. | |

I think its because they figure you can't do too much damage to the rzr if you keep it on its side!

| and that above was the best between all of the atv companies out there this past year. 695.08 a year was the best I could do. Esp after complaining to them about these 100 dollar policies out there. |

That seems like a pretty good price for full coverage on 2 machines. Insurance is like a teenage boy who carries a condom around all the time. You never need it when you have it, but as soon as you don't have it.....................you know the rest of the story......

| just checked. 390.60 for the S thru state farm. oh course i shreded the policy so will email them on what the limits are. hope that makes you feel better tbone. lol. i have my home and everything else thru state farm. they give me a multi car discount but nothing for the 3 harleys, trailer, grizzly ir rzr s. i have been with them for 15 years, same agent, office is 3 miles from my house and have had two claims and never had my premium raised. of course they are so high to begin with maybe they would be charged with mugging if they raised it. i like there replacement cost program and as long as you can produce receipt and have photos--they pay up. it may be high but i know they will do the right thing when i need them. | |
