Little Coal

Any information on this trail system? I am headed for a ride on Saturday and think I may go here.

If you're driving all the way from buckhannon I'd ride Sanderson/ campbells creek. You'll get board at little coal.

How do I get there?

Here are coordinates to three locations I've used to start a ride in the area. The first is at the very end of Quick road out of Pinch 38' 21.679' N, 81' 21.724' W.

The second is my favorite. Its a church parking lot about a mile and a half up Campbells Creek 38' 19.027' N, 81' 31.574' W

The third is a bit further up Campbells Creek but still lots of people use it. 38' 18.364 N, 81' 25.294 W

Check these places out on google earth and see what you think. Several of the guys on here ride this area. They can chime in with their thoughts.

I live near charleston and I ride little coal on occassion. I dont mind it for a day ride. Like said before the people at the trail head are nice too.

I rode it yesterday as a day trip. Did about 6 solid hours of trail time and really liked it. There was more than enough to get into and a good blend of trails. It took another solid hour with a hose to start to see the RZR afterward. Very busy, too.

Coal river is a good day trip. Sanderson is big country great riding a very good place to ride also easy to get lost.lol
