| Whats a good battery for the teryx? I can still start my buggy but as soon as i start winching she dies rather quickly. I figure a good deep cycle would work but do they make any small enough to stuff under the seat? I've heard alot about the odessy 925 but 180 for a battery is kinda crazy IMO. | |

| I need to buy one also. A odessy has to have a high dollar charger on it when not in use. There is a good bit of extra room on a rex. | |

| I had two full size red top optima batteries in mine. I recently removed one. It was such a burden on my stator, also didnt care for the extra weight. I'm not knocking what I did or the odessey battery that some talk about BUT when this one dies I'll be putting a lithium ferrous battery in. They r a little pricey still but the prices have been steadily coming down. They come in various operating temperature, reserve amp, n cold cranking amp ranges. Personally that is the route I would take. Just food for thought. Didnt mention in the lithium ferrous battery style a fraction of the weight n no plates, almost impossible to damage! | |

| How does that work when you put two batteries together?
Can charging system take care of them?
Why you need 2 phil?

| It will take care of two, just not good for stator (causes excessive heat) This was discovered when my engine was rebuilt. Using alot of amps (running several high current drawing accessories) at the same time causes stator to be constantly charging hard trying to keep both batteries charged at the same time. This being said keep in mind both mine were full size, his might not be n that because of that he probably won't have a problem later. | |
