| Duh guess I didn't say! Went with the holz 787, they make bigger but not a holz. HRR wasn't impressed with trinity racing, 840 or 902 kit. He was confident in holz n so far so good. James did the research n tear down n build. I had blown up the engine n decided to do more than stock. It's alot stronger but to complete I have to do the crank n cam. James is holz dealer n got everything for a fraction of what any of us off the street would pay. He took his time (being first rzr engine build for him), it has turned out great. When he finished he called me n said guess what I'm doing? Said he was doing burn outs on main road! Didn't believe, when I picked it up we went out on main road (both of us in it) n sure chit smoked the tires n left about 10 feet of rubber. Since last year gone thru 2 sets of rear tires. Also did a holz clutch to get better take off n cut some of the spinning. I'd let him build another if I needed it!!!! | |

| He's right the xp has all right out of the box. I want y'all to understand, I like tinkering n I bought this rzr cheap with intentions to do all this. It's not a necessity as much as passion. I've got anther engine I'm working on myself. N another style engine as well, I can't leave anything stock. When I rode the xp (Tbone's ) he told me to hammer down n I finally did, what a SWEET ride. When I get tired of mine maybe that will be the next project. | |

| I would be curious to see say an official 100 yard drag with times comparing a rzr to rzr xp to canned ham or something of the sort | |

I dunno. The commander is pretty quick. Xp is quick too. I have a test track for them and they are close |

| The moded engine has about 600 miles on it. I really think that doing the crank, cam, lifters, bigger valves will make a big difference. Just been doing it in stages due to cost. I also had the trans pulled out n all new bearings n the gears cut n reverse welded. 08 models reverse was free play. It's a tight ride. Did some more work this am (installed lift kit), still have not ridin it since I put s suspension on n many other changes. It is 65 inches wide, not to worried about width, been watching the s n xp widen all the trails, now I can ride!!!!! Jeremy has a 30 light bar on the way n HRR says my power steering is still on back order | |
