| I get 15 miles to gallon with 29.5s and playing in the mud. The commander Is a couple of inches narrower, I think it is great in the woods. As said earlier go drive them all and pick the one that YOU like best! | |

Yeah, you sure have been showing it the love lately.....and by love I mean DUST! It aint collecting dust. Believe me. The commander is getting some upgrades and just last week they both went to the test track to do some testing on set up. So far truthfully the XP is a tick quicker. If the commader dropped the 400 pounds that the XP is under then it would be different. Also adding that muzzy black box would probably have that commander about to shove that xp out of the way. |

I didn't realize the Commander was that much cheaper to buy. I gave $14,800 for my XP but I did buy the base model. I couldn't see paying an extra $800 just for a paint color. Does the Commander come with a winch??

I wasn't being a jerk, I really thought the Commanders come stock with a winch installed. I don't know where I got that from.

| Yea my phone is a pain also. I have to preview everything when I respond on the phone because of that stinking auto correct. For example, if I type in Bergoo, it replaces it with Bergen. | |

Yes they have. I remember when I was afraid that a 50" RZR was gonna be to wide for the trails and now I'm running around in a XP.

I think you are the only one that can answer that. Drive one when you get a chance and make a pro's and con's list based on your wants and needs vs your current machine.

| XP is the most capable sxs I've seen yet. One heck of a rock crawler. Eats rocks, downed trees, ruts, and climbs for breakfast. XP makes a S look very bad when it comes to ground clearance. And, if you do bottom out, that long travel lets those tires reach down and get it done. | |

| 09rzr, it seems you have alot of work and money in your rzr. From the type of riding you described, I think you should start with a clutch kit that is simmilar to what comes in a S stock. When I'm in low range, even stopped, and tap the throttle, I have instant snappy power that will clean the tires instantly. I have talked to a few rzr owners about the rpms that I'm turning, and they say a rzr is nothing like the S. My S is always wound up and ready to go. If I'm moving at all, I'm at around 4000 rpms. So when I hit the gas, there's no waiting.
If you keep what you have, try some clutch work. If that don't get you that hit you are looking for, then I would go with a big bore kit to build low end torque.

| Yea i had an epi clutch put in by my local dealer but it didnt seem to make a real difference....took a little off my top end but made no real big difference down low. Like i said i can run same wheels as my buddy we have same roof everything only real difference is I have clutch n long travel and reguardless of who drives whos his will pull away from mine off the line everytime. I am also running a uni filter n his is stock | |
