| I learned a pretty good lesson yesterday while riding the RZR. A buddy and I went riding and it was a dandy, one that encompassed five counties (Doddridge, Harrison, Marion, Tyler and Wetzel). In fact we rode clear acrossed Wetzel county. The lesson came at the end of the day six miles from the truck and in the middle of no where. When the RZR ran outta gas!!!!! I still had one bar on the gas gauge and I thought we would have no problem making it back, boy was I wrong. LOL!!! We had to walk a long way to get gas and to make matters worse we didn't run out of gas until after dark. We had rode 97 miles when the RZR ran out. I won't make this mistake again and I will have extra gas from now on, especially on those rides of 70 miles or more. Also I won't believe the gas gauge again!!!! | |

| I have never went by the gas gauge I always set my trip meter to 0 and between 60-70 miles you need gas.I have ran mine out of gas plenty times only because I was carrying extra gas.Every time mine has ran out my trip showed 74.6 miles on it but that was when I was running 27" XTR's and I know that would be around 80 miles with stock size tires on it.

| I am running 26 in Bighorns and rode 78 miles last Sunday. So I don't know how much difference those tires will make on the odometer. However after 78 miles it only took 4.5 gallons to fill it up. So when I still a one bar left one the gauge after 97 miles I figured I still had a little left, at least enough to get me 6 more miles to the truck. I guess I thought wrong, LOL!!!! | |

| Thunter, just wanted to let you know that I used more gas riding with you than I ever have. I think your driving style plays a big part in it. Could also be that area with all those really long hills, and that's not counting the climbs. I just filled mine up from our ride, and it took 5 gal. I got 10 mpg up there vs. 15+ where I normally ride. | |

| Sorry that happened to you THunter but thanks for sharing. I haven't ran out gas yet and carry extra but wasn't sure how far I could go before refilling. | |

| Yea Yamabeast how you ride has alot to do with your fuel mileage. The day we rode, we rode fairly slow and did alot of low range riding. I think I got 97 miles yesterday because we were hauling ass most of the day, LOL!! Next time you ride with me we'll go faster!! Simoniz, man thats terrible fuel mileage. I don't think I would get that bad of fuel mileage if I rode in low range all day. | |
