On the trail tools

I am making up a tool bag to carry on the trails in case there is a problem.

What is everyones suggestions for the proper tools on the trail?

corn cobs ,air pump,flat tire repair.your basic and first aid kit

for strikeing [[[ I'm sorry for got you a city boy ] sometimes uesd to plug hole in radiator too.

But I also carry
Extra drive belt,Tie rod ends,ball joint,Tire slime,misc nuts/bollts,
And since I added the "Trunk" I will take along a Rechargable Impact!

We carry a small hatchet too ... for obvious uses ... or you can beat a rim out.

Don't forget the fireworks

So that's what the air pump is for....

Since we're talking about a RZR, I'd include a spare clutch belt, 1/4" drive socket kit w/ 6" extension. I've loaned mine out more than once.

All this junk might seem like a lot to carry....but I have had to use every single one of these parts on a ride....and I don't leave people on the mtn.

For some reason folks seem to leave out jumper cables when they make up this list.

Another for jumper cables... had 2 trail experiences lately where we all had left ours behind. But you can use the Polaris pliers and a small pc. of wire and make your own jumper cables. Works great!

VALVE STEMS !!!!!! Yes you can install from the outside if you shave them down a bit and have some grease or tire plug glue .

If a rock catches it right and rips it off there ya sit ! Worth carrying a few.

GETERDUN had a pretty cool tool used to plug tires and I like that thing. I bet that would be a good item to have as well.

Snap on makes a tool like you are talking about. I saw it the other day. I'll get a part number. I think it is a must for the kind of riding we do.

need to add flash light. Been on the trail many times and seen a breakdown at night. Without a flash light its going to be tough. I carry one.
