| Yes, Wellsville is tough to beat, but it's nice to take a road trip every once in while. Tks for all the advice from everyone! There is just four of us going (my wife and another couple), and we're interested in a nice cabin or cottage with a good atmosphere. THinkin about Wildwood Cabins, any more advice would be appreciated, tks Jmj | |

| Never heard of Wildwood Cabins but they look nice http://wildwoodcabinswv.com/index.html
But I have only been to Gilbert one time and then I stayed in Man at The Colonial Inn and rode into Gilbert.

| I use to stay about a 1/10th mile north of Wildwood at Lindseys but he quit renting now. Those are right at canebreak and should be on the rivers edge. If you are looking for good food go into Man and at the light is Keiths Bar and grill. or in town is the Hillbilly firepit AWESOME!! or go to Wacker recommended on 52 two miles east of Gilbert is the Blue Moon Grill.
wow I'm hungry now thinking about this food!!

| My wife son and I like the Ashland Campground aka atvresort. We have looked at Twin Hollows Campground several times. Thought about checking it out for something different. Anyone have any comparisons on Ashland vs Twin Hollows. | |

I have not stayed at Twin Hollows just rode through it but from what I remember Ashland is much bigger and with more cabins & sites and they have wifi & satellite tv I don't know what Twin Hollow has. When the new Pocahontas Trail system opens up soon I look for Ashland to be the #1 destination of all the H/M systems because of having 3 trail systems all connected where you can leave the campground and ride all 3 plus all of the Wagon Wheel area of Free trails

If you are going to ride in Gilbert and want to camp or get a cabin with a great view. Twin Hollow is the place. 5-10 minutes by trail to Wally's for breakfast or dinner, had to get the food in there, but imo it's like Bobby said there is more riding around Ashland.

| If looking for something simple. Try this place out, just opened last fall. Plain and Clean! Brand new rooms, super cheap rates, store on site and if you stay in a room FREE IN DOOR SECURED STORAGE of your ride at night--complete with hillbilly security system (Large German Shepard ex-police dog and a RedNeck with .45) we love it in the winter, nothing like prepping the Rhino indors when its 4* outside. Camp Gound comeing soon. Super nice folks and just a couple miles above the Wagon Wheel if you ride the WW outlaws you know it as the Blue Building. Tell them Jerry & Janet from NC sent you. http://countryroadgrocery.webs.com/rates.htm | |
