| I have replacement headlights 35w hid's and just bought a 250w radio. is both of them going to be too much draw on the battery?? | |

| No they should be fine. Just don't leave the radio running long with the motor off |

The rzr's 25 amp alt. will put out 355 watts at 14.2 volts....hope this helps.... | |

| THanks for the info guys. I wanted to get the ssv radio but the cheapest I could find it was $485. I rode with a guy over labor day that his this system and thought I would give it a try. only $88 on ebay. Shark AUdio Radio | |

| today my battery moved and started sending sparks out everywhere. I guess the new battery moved somehow. |

The 1st thing I noticed about my rzr is the battery strap being really close to the posts. I figured if the battery could move at all, it could ground out on that strap. If I have any trouble, I will cover the strap with a piece of rubber hose. It does seem way to close to the positive post on the battery. | |

| Dixiecop28, I would say you will be ok with your setup. Just try not to run everything at once while at low rpms. The stock charging system doesn't put out much below 3000rpms. Just don't do any hard winching with the engine idle, stereo cranked, and the lights on all at the same time and you should be fine. | |

| I cut an old rubber inner tube and put on my bracket....it got rid of the problem.... | |

| thanks yamabeast. I normally dont run the headlights during the day so the only thing on should be the stereo. If I gotta winch I will just shut the the tunes off. | |
