$2000 a year, what are you smoking??? I didn't spend $2000 on my old RZR in 4 1/2 years. Also if durability was my primary line of thinking I would buy a Honda Big Red. I want performance!!!

Thanks Jimbob!! I spoke with my dealer yeasterday!! The biggest complaint I have with the RZR lineup is the bushings. They are a constant pain in the rear and Polaris needs to change to something else there. The ball joints are ok except the rubber boot is way to loose and the lower joint fills up with mud and ruins the joint in no time. I'm working on some fixes for them though.

Go with the Super Daves! Best thing going right now. http://www.superdaves.citymax.com/polaris_rzr_bushing_kits.html

| All joking aside, there has got to be an aftermarket balljoint, tie rod ends, and bushings that are ten million times better than stock pooplaris.
Has anyone checked with MOOG or someone like that to see if they make a balljoint for the xp??

I didn't see it on the website. I think they are but I've read on XP's they are about on par with the OEM bushings. Might be quieter I guess since they are self lubricating, not sure on that?

| Ok as for the ball joints here is what I am trying. I have no idea if this will work or not. I put a couple shots of grease down in the joint. Then put two 7/16" O-rings around the boot. Hopefully this will help keep the mud and water out and the grease in. I only did this on the lower joints since they're the ones I'm having all the trouble with. I really think the only problem with these Joints are the boot is not tight on the stem and once they get mud down in the joint, it's over. I tried a zip tie before the O-ring, but I could see where the hard plastic zip tie would wear through the boot in no time. In 6 months or so I'll let everyone know how this works. If someone has a better idea, lets hear it. | |

| That sounds like a good thing to try. Yeah, the bottom gets all the mud, but they also take most of the hit from rocks or whatever you hit at speed. | |

| Here's a SuperATV Ball Joint. [url= ][ I wonder if you took a needle greaser and filled the boot of any new B-joint, if it'd last longer. | |

| I'm gonna find out. I greased both lower ball joints. I have the stock Polaris joints though. The boot is so loose around the stem I didn't need a needle greaser. I was able to stick the end of a regular grease gun down in the boot and give it two shots of grease. That's why I put a couple 7/16" O-rings over the boot. I'll see how it does and go from there. | |
