| I just purchased this off of E-bay...it puts your pistol or what ever in arms reach and keeps it dry. No digging into a bag or having to keep it on your side while riding. I don't know how it will work but for $40.00 I will be able to use it for something. It's 9x6x5

| Whoever pulls out a gun be prepaired to pull that trigger! This is not game! I actually knew of someone who pulled a gun out to scare someone off or I guess put some fear into someone that was beginniing to be a problem. Well, sadly he is no longer here today! Nuff said! | |

| I carry all the time and the US ARMY taught me to KILL 'EM ALL and LET GOD SORT 'EM OUT!!!!!!
Nothing better than a good ShootOut!!! Unless you wind up in a Coffin...Then there's nothing worse.
In all reality, a long walk back and a call to the insurance company is much better than TAPS and a short descent to 6 foot under............
I carry so that I can defend myself and my family from loss of life.
Anybody can talk the talk, but when you have a gun barrel staring you in the face, the rules change pretty quick. Like Simoniz said, if you pull it then you have to be willing to use it.
Food for thought | |

| Well I have never heard of anything like this happening around the trails we ride and I have been riding there for a long time with 30,000 + miles logged in that area and I'm not the only one.It may be true I'm not saying it isn't but it's hard to believe but anything is possible.I use to ride by myself all the time the first year or two when I first started going but I would not do that any more mainly in case of a break down or accident | |

| The wife and I saw a sign on a tree that said something about the trails thieves that are stealing on this trail may not may it out of this woods. Believe the sign was on a tree just right off haul road on one of the trails that head toward Welch.WE came off the trails onto haul road on Sat. ride with Lil Will coming back from Welch, we just caught a glance of it did not think much about it till I saw this post | |

| Trooper Long told us in class that the most important thing we would learn today is "know you are going to kill that person before you ever draw your weapon, don't pull it until you know you are going to use it".
I don't believe there are any armed robberys like this on these trails. I would believe that there are sxs stolen on the trail while people are taking breaks and leaving the keys in them. I can see someone jumping in and driving off. Anything is possible, but I think these thieves are pretty smart because they have been at it for a long time without getting caught. I'm sure they understand that they only go to jail for a very short time if they get caught stealing, and I'm sure they know if they get caught doing an armed robbery, that they are going to the big house for a long time. Not worth it to them when they can just swipe it easy while you are sleeping after a big party.
I've always heard that if you leave the keys in it, that insurance won't cover thieft. I don't know if this is true or not, but I take my keys out everytime I get out of my ride and think that I may walk away for a minute. | |

Well I have heard it several times from people but I will admit I dont hear of it often. Just hearing about it scared me for years on that issue. I already did my homework on this. People have told me about it. What else do I need to do? |

| I have always been security minded. I take my quick disconnect steering wheel and key with me when I'm staying out overnight. I also have a cable to secure it to something if and when I'm in area that I'm unfamiliar with. | |
