| Found another great comparison video from those guys out west.
I was shocked to see how much the rzr left the ground when going through the hoops in slo mo. Also the cat left the ground alot in slo mo. Very proud of the maverick getting the rzr offroad in the drags but the rzr 1000 had a bit more torque and got the maverick up the dune hill.
Enjoy the video guys.

| I think the bigger tires played a big help on the sand hill .. But hey I'm still a proud owner of a maverick, I was expecting so much more from Polaris | |

| so tbone...this was all discussed when they first released the xp1k but now that you have driven a 1k and owned a 900 is the new one that much better to be worth selling the 900 or save the money and put it into the 900 | |

Shew....Thats a tough question. If money was not an answer then yes the 1000 has some traits that makes it better than a 900. The 900 is a GREAT motor. If we are talking power to power then No way. for 20 grand it needs to pull alot harder than what it is. This is my opinion but if you are going to go for a 1000 for power only then you are spinning your wheels. You can have a maverick for way less and a wildcat x for that matter and save a ton of coin. I think that if you are in an 800, rhino, or regular wildcat then it would be alot easier to go to that machine. If you already have a very powerful machine then its hard to spend 5 to 8 thousand dollars just to run a tick quicker. You could keep your 900, put nice seats in it and probably a clutch kit. Maybe even put that polaris power kit in it and run right with the 1000. You have already spent the money for the machine and its over with. The 1000 was not out when most got theirs naturally. To dump your 900 and get that machine plus accessories would cost from 6 to 10 grand to get it done and get that 1000 where your 900 was at as far as accessories. Thats ALOT. If I was in a 900 I would put seats in it, ps is u dont already have it, polaris kit or the alba racing kit, and maybe tweek on the shocks some. You will be more than fine with that and have alot of comfort. Plus you will turn sharper. For where we ride thats my 5 cents and if it was me. That 1000 is VERY NICE. Polaris did a great job. A little overpriced for whats out there. |

| My only bitch about polaris is you have to work on it after every ride. They make good power though. I'm still happy with my wildcat so far. It feels like its made for the riding I do. | |

| I wouldnt trade a 900 rzr in on a xp1 .. Dont get me wrong the xp1 is nice but it wont be nowhere as nimble in the mountains as a 900 or maverick with the extended wheelbase and width .. polaris advertises them at 64" but in reality theyre about 66" in the front and 67 3/4" in the rear, so they are wide .. I'm just not a fan of any trailing arm setup for east coat riding, I had a xp9 and I complained from day 1 about the trailing arms getting hung up in rocks and stumps | |
