Spring Ride plans & expectations




Thursday-everyone on their own to make ride plans


Friday-10:00am Group ride leaves from stop sign at campground

Saturday-9:30am Group ride leaves from stop sign at campground

Sunday-10:00 Group ride leaves from stop sign at campground

1.First off the Friday & Saturday group rides are not a party it's a
ride so if you must drink do it in moderation as there won't be time
to stop for lot's of pee stops.Save the partying for the campfire
after the ride.


2.You need a rear view
mirror to watch the person behind you and never run off and
leave them where they don't know where you turned.


3.If you have mechanical problems for example overheating,broken belt,etc
that can't be fixed quickly I will not have the whole group
of 50+ other machines sitting around wasting their day waiting the
ride will continue and someone will stay with you to make sure you
get back to camp.


4.If you are not ready to ride when the ride starts you will be left


5.Bring food and drinks and extra gas if your machine can't go
80 miles on a tank just in case we would ride that far.



We will have short breaks & a lunch stop on the trail.I will sound a horn when break is over and it's time to ride.After horn you will have 2 or 3 minutes to get in and buckle up to start riding again.

This would be my 1st trip. Where would we meet up? You ride outlaw trails as well as HM trails? How long are the rides? Are kids ok? Do you do a night ride?

We all try to stay at Ashland Resort atvresort.com is their web site.Try to book you a cabin or rv site now as they go quick.Once they are booked their are other places to stay with in a couple of miles also.We line up each morning at the stop sign leaving Ashland Resort and we have a community fire each night for everyone to gather at that wants to.We ride Outlaw trails so people that only get to ride once or twice a year don't have the extra expense of buying a H/M permit and some like to have some Beers when they ride.Kids are ok if you are riding them in a SXS and they are not riding their own machine unless they can keep up with the group.I personally don't do night rides I enjoy the campfire to much and after riding all day most people are wore out and no interested in a night ride but if some want to do that they go out in their own little groups.

2014 Spring Ride is April 11,12,13 @ Ashland Resort.Most people that was at the Fall Ride booked there Cabin before they left so you better call now if you want to have a Cabin.
