| Hi all, I've been looking to buy a 4 seat SXS and found myself here. I was looking for opinions on running a 4 seater in tight woods trails. Other sites are too biased with people riding out west in dunes and open spaces. We don't have any of that here! I think I have it narrowed down to a Kaw T4 or a RZR 4 800. The other ones are either too big or too $$$. I'm leaning towards the T4 because of the shorter wheelbase and tighter turning radius.
What do you guys think about running 4 seaters in these woods?

| I've got a XP 4 900 and love it, haven't any trouble getting around WV. Might have to back up to make a turn every now and then but not to often. | |

| I don't have a 4 seater but have been on several rides with them and they don't seem to have any problems in the WV woods. Like Cale said, there will be times when you have to back up and get going again to make a turn but I have to do that on my Wildcat because of the poor turning radius and it's not a big deal. Get your 4 seater and |

| I like rzr's but in this instance I would get the t4. They seem to be really impressive. Good luck and let us know what you decide |

| Have a RZR4 XP now and love it. Ride is good & don't have any trouble in the tight woods. The longer wheel base I believe is why the ride is a better overall. As for the T4 Kawasaki. Good machine as well and good price. I personally don't like the seating position on them. | |

| I have a friend up in buffalo selling a Robbie Gordon Rzr 4. Machine is in awesome shape and he is very meticulous about maintaining it. He will move on the price also. Here is the link to the add. http://buffalo.craigslist.org/sno/4155757936.html | |

| Thanks for the feedback. It seems like either would work and 4 seaters don't have that much of a problem getting around. I did notice the Rzr guys are running XPs which are nice but even more $$. Looks like the T4 is good machine for the price. I am going to be totin my kids around so I don't need a sport SxS but man is my friends wildcat fun!! I think I'll go check out the T4s this weekend and see what kind of deal I can get. It looks like the leftover 2013 models are dropping in price. I just wanna ride!!! | |

| If you're lucky you might even find a leftover 12. You won't be disappointed in a T4. Esp if you are looking for leg room in the back. Most comfortable four seater for passengers. And much more reliable. | |

that's the best riding 4 seater I have been in. I would take the longer turn radius to get the smoother ride.

| I will add that they both are good machines. I would go look at them both and decide from there. I would buy a T4 over a rzr 4 800 but would 100% buy a rzr xp4 over a T4 in a heartbeat. |

You guys have me going back and forth now. I think TBONE has a good point. The XP4 is a whole different machine but it's about $6.5k more! I'll check them out and try to make a decision. Thanks again for all of the input.

| If you are not wanting a sport machine, but still wanting to be able to tool around in the woods -- Have you considered a Polaris Ranger 570 crew. They also make the crew in a 800 & 900. The 570 does have good power & the price is very comparable to the T4. As far as that goes, the 800 is not that much more $. Regardless with what you decide on, it will all be good. | |

Thanks again for all of the input. I don't have brand preferences but I do have "features" preferences. The reason I say xp4 is the ride is much better, the engine is behind you, so the heat and noise are way less. When off roading I want as much ground clearance and suspension travel as possible and still have stability. I highly recommend the 900 over the 800 also. Much better engine/cvt.

| We have a T4 done 600 miles on it and love it. It is louder inside than the RZR I hear but these things have great torque, very reliable and I think ride well. | |

| You stated earlier that your friends Wildcat was fun! You know they make a 4 seater! As long as you're looking you might as well consider it! |

| I've rode with Jimbob and phmixson alot and I do no there buggy's go anywhere they point them if ya have the balls. Other wise they are very reliable the T4's and what I've learned about the 2014s they stepped up from 750 to 800 and have much better suspention now and the best warranty out there and not to mention the best price. I have a 2 seater Teryx and I love it. | |
