| I have a guy just outside of Beckley chopping cages. I have seen 3 machines he has chopped now & one of them was mine. I am really pleased with the end results. He charges $350 for a 2 seater & $450 for a 4 seater. He does not paint the cage when done other than to just keep the areas from rusting. I just painting mine cage areas back with satin black & it matches great. Let me know if interested & I can pass on the info. so you can get in touch with him. I also have been working with this same guy to start building more items. | |

| Hey T Bone -- you still got those pictures I sent. Or there is another link on here that has some of his work. Let me see if I can find the link ---
He also tries to leave the roll cages alone so you can use factory roof as well. He has done that on both the 2 seater & the 4 seaters.

| Just out of curiosity what is the purpose in chopping the cage? I can understand reinforcing it but never heard anyone's reason for chopping it. | |

| The guy I know has not done a T Rex cage. I'm sure he could handle it, but he would have to have the machine in front of him to say for sure. | |

You can take about 4 inches out of the back upright cage tubes and pull the stock cage back enough to join it. The strongest by far though is a welded cage of dom steel.
