| Where exactly do you guys park at, and how far from Pburg is that? It would be a hell of a long trip though some twisty road to get there. | |

Hump they generally park and launch from the iintersection of Rt 47 and Rt 53. It's about a 25 minute drive from WVUP. I would love to go but I'm getting a tooth surgically removed on Friday. Call me a puss but I doubt I'm gonna feel like riding.

| Hump it would take you around 4 to 5 hours to get there pulling a trailer if you come through Charleston or Sutten area hitting 79 to 77 North to Parkersburg then Rt. 47 | |

Sorry Chris but Hump doesn't drive anything like you do!! Hump your best bet is hit 79 South then take RT 16 north at Big Otter. This will bring you to Smithville, Turn left onto RT 47 until the intersection of 53 and 47. Travel time is about 2 1/2 hours. If I feel up to it I may go Saturday. Someone has to keep Jimbob out of trouble.

| OK, let me help you guys help me. LOL I went to school at WVU-P. I drove rt 19 to I-79, got off at the Burnsville exit to Glenville and got on rt 47 at Burnt House, WV. It took me just over 2 1/2 hrs to get to Parkersburg, but I did let it roll back in the day. Towing will be slower, but I have balls with a trailer also.
I'm thinking something like 2 1/2 to the parking spot. IDK, it seems like a little much for a day.
I get on 79 at the Rt 19 beckley exit. FYI. I think the old way I used to go though Glenville would be the shortest.

| 120 mi going the old way I used to. I think that would be my best bet as far as knowing the road, and using less fuel. I would say it would take me 2 1/2 to get there. Don't know if I will do it this time or not, but I do plan on it one day. | |

The RT 47/53 intersection is about 25 minutes closer than your trip to WVUP. So if you made it to WVUP in about 2 1/2 hours I think you could make it to the intersection while towing about the same amount of time. That is a long haul for a day. That's why I never make it to Bergoo to ride very often.

| Terry, the way you said is 3 miles shorter than my old rt. Do you know if rt 16 is straighter than rt 5 through Glenville and Tanner. That road from Glenville to Burnt House is crooked as hell. I used to drift through there in a lowered 2wd S-10 back before drifting was cool. My balls have shrunk since then. | |

Depending on where you actually live around Washington, the way I go when I go to Washington pa, is take I 70 west to Cambridge oh, take I 77 south to exit 174 in wv, take a left onto rt 47 go 3/4 mile to go mart on right. It's the longest way but it is the easiest and quickest, I can make it in 2 hrs 15 minutes. Have fun
