| Almost 8K more than my home cost in 1978. IMHO, it seems a little to high for recreation. | |

| I like the Desert edition wheels and roof with light bar but I'd rather have those on the the Highlifter Edition. Stronger reverse chain and lower gearing are a plus. I also like the snorkels since it then breathes cleaner air.

| I don't see any desert anywhere I ride so no need for it for me.
I don't have a big problem with 28k for a play toy but that is mighty steep for one that is fairly used up after 5-7 years. 28k for a boat or rv isn't so bad. You can get more life out of them and finance them for a decent rate for a fairly long period. I am not saying that you can't maintain and repair a rzr and ride it for 50 years but generally an atv or sxs over say 7-8 years is pretty long in the tooth if you are a serious rider that puts lots of miles on it. | |

| That's ridiculous. I might consider it if Polaris put a 10 year warranty on it. | |

| At a glance it just looks to me like a couple grand in accessories they are selling for $7-8k. Nice machine, but that's nearly the cost of a new Jeep Rubicon. | |

| On Rzrforums it's easy to see that many West Coast Desert riders put $30K+ in Rzr's and $60K+ in SandBuggy's. They tend to ride sand buggy's since that's where real power/performance is. If they can get a Rzr that meets most of their needs for $27K then it's a cheaper option. | |
