| I had a maverick but recently sold it to buy a maverick turbo, should be in next month and I'll do a good review on it .. I put 4000 miles and 210hrs on my old maverick and no complaints | |

| The 900s has alot of power and handles and drives like a sports car through the woods It is alot of fun went riding last weekend and put 137.3 in one day didnt beat me up like the 2012 terx i had. Teryx is a tuff machine im just not that tuff anymore. Polaris has done well with the new 900s I really like it | |

| I think that Polaris hit a home run with that new 900S. Its a great machine. It just seems about perfect for what we do in wv riding. Out west, all they want is the most HP. |

| The 900 S has really caught on fast. This will be a top seller for Polaris. Honda and Yamaha, are you taking notes on this? I understand big hp out west, lots of wide open trails and sand. No need for that on trails here. | |

I understand big hp out west, lots of wide open trails and sand. No need for that on trails here. I disagree with you on that Timmi...I haven't had my Maverick very long at all but I have already had a few moments in VW. when I was WFO and thinking if I could use more HP. I have never had an issue where I couldn't keep up with some one but you can never have too much HP. I haven't hit top speed very much but 0-50 when riding with folks that like to go fast...you need all you can get. I personally would like to see a machine at around 150 hp. It won't go any faster than you push it but it's there if you need it. Having said that...the 900S looks like it would be perfect for WV. with normal riding conditions and there is no dought when pushing it that it would burn up the trails also. I just want to hear how they hold up after people ride them for about 2000 miles. I remember when the RZR's first came out we all said you don't need any more power than that. The RZR is the perfect machine for what we do. But now it's a different story. I'm sure we will say the same thing about the newer machines that we have now in a few years. That's the way with everything.

| With the rzr 1000 I think it has adequate power but there are times where I would use more power. I think about 180 horse is about right for the east. In the dunes however I think 275 horse is about where it needs to be.
However when it comes to how much I would pay for that extra power the answer is not much more. The 110 horse it gets the job done pretty well.
The thing that I think you can never have too much of is suspension. I am going to send my shocks out this winter for a a revalve but I doubt I will ever spend money on horsepower mods.

If they in that big a hurry, I will see them some other time ;0

Now that I agree with. Suspension is where it's at for off roading!

| For me , since I'm not rich enough to own two machines I have to have the utility portion of it too. Since money is tight I need a good base machine that I can build up when I have the money and time. The Commander was the best suit for that. | |
