New to the sport of SXS

Looked like fun so I purchased 2010 Polaris RANGER RZR Tequila Gold LE. Can’t keep the son out of it, he is having a blast .Been into snowmobiling several years and miss trail riding in the summer. My wife also likes the out doors along with our son who rides a MX bike and races in the summer. Always wanted to go ride in West Virginia and can’t wait till next spring. I will take any advice from the veterans out there to help make this a great family sport. Been doing a lot of reading and getting a lot of valuable information here.

firepup I live south of chillicothe and ride at logan and hanging rock we could hook up a ride sometime

bubba53, Have to work on News Year day so wont be able to make that ride but the spring ride I would like to make. Where is it going to be at and could you tell me what trail permits I need and what they cost.

Ohiofishman, we will have to do that. Have ridden dirt bikes over at dorr run before with my son.

firepup, most everyone stays at the ashland atv resort in ashland,wv. the phone# is 1-888-862-2322, I would not wait to long to call if you want a cabin or a camping spot. the fee for a hatfield/mccoy yearly pass is 50.00, but I don't know if we are riding those trails at the spring ride.

Better be careful letting the son drive it --- you might have to get another RZR for yourself

He has already put 80+ miles on it just riding in the field around the house. I dont thank my wife would go for getting another right now and he can ride his bike or our atv when we go riding. At 13 from what I have been reading , the laws say he is to young and I need to get him into a safety class.
