Ohio Motorized Trail Meetings
Ohio is one of the top 10 states in the country for the purchase of all-purpose vehicles (APVs). The motorized community has demonstrated a continued need for motorized trails in the State of Ohio. Through a stand alone Motorized Trails Plan for Ohio, the Office of Trails will work with the motorized community and land managers in identifying the issues and needs. This plan will provide a vision for the next 3-5 years for the Office of Trails. We are working on one of the current high priorities of expanding motorized trails in Ohio.
These meetings are not just for quads, OHMs and 4x4s. These meeting will tell the state that we need a non-paved system around the state for licensed vehicles too. We have a hard time saving x roads. When we have a plan for a state wide destination trail system providing economic benefits to the communities we will be able to save all the roads. Please attend a meeting and promote our sport and life style.
In order to provide a forum for that input, we are holding meetings in four locations around the state. Please spread the word to get attendance numbers up there.
