| Heres the ABS parts list: 3- 90 degree elbows 3- 90 degree street elbows 1- 45 elbow 1- 45 degree street elbow 1- 22 degree elbow 6- 2" rubber couplers 1-length of 2" pipe 1- can of ABS cement TOTAL COST= $53.00 TOTAL TIME= 2 HOURS Follow this guyus directions....I am too lazy to re type. I plan to look for some sort of filters to put on the end of both intakes just to prevent any dirt / water / mud form getting into the intakes. http://www.rzrforums.net/projects-how/3511-home-made-snorkels-incl-parts-list.html |

| If you had to do over again, is there any gotchas? What about the breather lines they talked about in the article?
I am thinking about doing this or the canister solution - although this is much cheaper. | |

| I did not run into any troubles doing the snorkle job. It was really simple and well explained in the write up. i did not do any breather lines because I was not snorkling to "go deep" I was more concerned about dust ingestion problems.
I did function check the set up by placing my hand over the air intake and there were no leaks because the lack of air to the motor caused it to stall....The only question that I have is wether or not the stock filter will trap the dust or not and i will most likely try some sort of filter on the end of the snorkle as a precaution. |
