| Hi guy's I am new to the forum lots of good info. My question, is there any difference in the 08 - 09 model.? I have not decided to pull the trigger on a RZR yet but I ran across a very nice 08 with 300 miles and about 3 grand in extras for a few hundred less than a new 09 with no extras. I am 51 years old and have been riding a 05 Rincon for sometime now, and thinking about moving to the RZR. I am not sure about the sitting position and the bouncing without being able to absorb the rough trails with the legs. I have rode dirt bikes and quads for years and am slow to change can you guy's help me out here? :188: Thanks David | |

:188: :135: David I would buy a new 09 Polaris made many changes for 09.You need to look at a 09 at the dealership and have a salesman explain all of the upgrades in my opinion to get the facts. You will love a RZR it's much more enjoyable than a quad.I rode quads for 20 years and love the RZR much better.

| I already have a 2008 RZR and withthe recent economy I have a seen a few 2008 RZRs with $4,000 worth of accessories (bumpers, winch, winshield, top, cargo box, rims / tires, snorkels etcc..) sell for around $8,000.
I have seriously thought about buying a 2nd one, I paid around $14,000 for mine new with accesories last year and wish i had waited.
I would pay $8,000 -$9,000 for an 08 RZR with decent amount of accessories and low mileage as you described. Just check the throttle body for dust. I will probably break down and buy the DFR canister - problem solved for $400 unless you feel ambitious and do the snorkels for a lot less. I prefer not to ride in hot dusty conditions any way and I don't do it very often (July -August).

| I have been told by the local Polaris Dealership that Polaris is rebuilding the topend of all the 08 RZRs free of charge due to the intake problem. You guys with 08s may want to look into it. I'm sure everyone would love a free head job!! | |

| The truth is, polaris extended the warranty on 08 models from 6 months to 24 months from the original sale date if it develops a issue due to getting dust and dirt into the intake system, a lot did a very lot had no problems. The 09s are past all those issues and have 30% stronger roll cage, better ebs system and lots of other improvements. |

| well he must just be doing it for his customers because I know from the ride last weekend we brought one back with us from WW that was not having any problems and and was rode the whole weekend and he was still taking it back to go thru it. Kinda like car and truck dealerships some will go to farther lenghts to make their customers happy. | |

Myself and the Irishman paid $500.00 for the DFR airbox at the time of the first rebuild and not long after that they needed another rebuild so who knows :192:
