| Hello folks. I have a crew coming up in October (13-17) and we are staying at Browning Fork Trailhouse. We plan on riding Rockhouse the 1st couple of days. On the 3rd day I would like to get your opinion on where to ride. We would like scenic with a little challenge. I was thinking either Buffalo Mountain or Pinnacle Creek.
Does anyone have any opinions on this? This is our first trip up there of many to come. We will have wheelers and SXS's. |

| Well I would either do Pinnacle Creek or Indian Ridge because from either one of those you can get to the other one without moving from place to place. You can also ride the free unmarked trails around the Wagon Wheel so more riding in this area than you can ride.I have never rode Buffalo Mountain so I can't comment on that system.I suggest staying at www.atvresort.com and riding Indian Ridge and have another guest staying there lead you or point you in the right direction to the Wagon Wheel and then over to the Pinnacle Creek system. Most of the people that stay at the Ashland Resort ride the Wagon Wheel and some ride it all meaning Indian Ridge & Pinnacle Creek too leaving from the Campground so there is no need to load you sxs or quad until you are ready to head home. | |

| I took my first trip down there a few weeks ago. We only spent one day on the Indian Ridge trails for HM. Then headed out to the Wagon Wheel trails with a group. They are the best trails around. Hills, mud, scenery, creek crossings you name it. Try and hook up with someone that knows the Wagon Wheel trails, it is well worth it. Ashland Resort is a real nice campground (they also have nice cabins).
Good luck and have fun, Mark

| Thanks all. Staying at Browning Fork Trailhouse, will we have to trailer to Pinnacle Creek or Indian Ridge? |

Garmin I don't have a clue but you get a map and trails are marked so don't know why you would need them

| You may try these folks they use to offer them but IDK if they still do. http://www.vvmapping.com/orvtrailGPSWV.html
The free maps off the website are what I use or have your gps on and make your own. I deleted all my tracks because the maps were so accurate I never used them.
