| I really like the Poly planner set up and it is a awsome for the price , but came across this on PRC and its pretty neat ... Its a water proof Ipod box ( so no otter box ) , charging station for the ipod , molded case with water poof speaker , and the coolest thing , water proof remote .... I'm sure you guys have probably see it , but that is pretty cool ...

| Only problem I see with that bubba is you will not be able to hear anyone yell at ya , or your machine , and you have to take them out your ears to get out of the machine . I don't have a radio in my machine just cause I listen to Presses run everyday , I like the break from noise .... but there are times I could use some tunes on the long runs ..... | |

| Not to bash a company, but I would just get the poly system and buy the tool box and then ride like you stole it | |

| Anyone have any experiance with this setup. I am looking for a cheap way to listen to my ipod. I am not to concerned about waterproof as this will be mounted to my roof. http://www.amazon.com/PLMCA30-Motorcycle-Amplified-Handlebar-Speakers/dp/B001RJMPBA/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1291690509&sr=8-10 | |

| I saw those , one guy had a Video of a fella using them on a ATV , it would be easier to mount in the RZR . | |

| Just some food for thought, Dont know what you guys are running now, but I went to Walmart bought a $40 off-brand amp and $5 extra warranty, a RCA jack adapter for Ipod and tucked it all up under my dash (08' Rhino) . I originally had a pioneer am/fm/CD head unit mounted in there with a marine enclosure and after trashing 3 or 4 of them from dust mud and water, decided to try this simple fix. Been wheelin' it since late spring and its still workin fine, all ready had 2 6x9 speakers roof mounted. I figure not counting the cost of my Ipod, I got about $100 bucks tied up in the whole deal, 600 watts of power and plenty of tunes! Oh yeah if it ever does die....I'm plannin' on usin' that extra 5 buck insurance | |

| Coalcowboy. I like your idea. I found a amp on Amazon for $32.68 and I am pretty sure I can get speakers for free or less than $20.00. My question is how do I hook the amp up to my Ipod? | |

| easy, they make a cable with RCA style ends that go to the amp, and the headphone style jack for the Ipod...walmart, radioshack, etc. has them. The Ipod controls volume and sound EQ all you have to do is set your amp to where it sounds good and you can hide it anywhere, I used silicone on the power connections but I swear, it hasnt given me any trouble, its tucked under the air box on the "firewall" outside of my rhino, which is wide open to everything the trail can give you and it hasnt died yet. Its a Hillbilly Cowboy way to do it, but it works just fine and wont cost you an arm and a leg. Buy a cheap amp ( mine is 600 watts for 40 bucks) spend your money on the speakers, I have two 6x9 pioneers wasnt high dollar but, I could have spent a lot less. This works for me, we have installed about 5 other setups like this and no complaints....let me know how it works man! | |

| I am going to get the stuff this weekend. Might have to order the amp online. (I can't shop at Walmart). I might check out the local pawn shops to see what they have. Thanks for the insight. | |

| Personal, although with my lack-of-patience it's a wonder I still allowed at Lowes....... I just can't support Walmart with their current business practice's. I use to love going to Walmart, but we haven't shopped there in 7yrs. I also will not use self checkout's anywhere. If I am doing part of the job, I should get a discount. Whats next going to the stock room when somethings not on the shelf? It's not about convience, they found a way to cut cost and put another person out of work, but I am still paying the same for the item...... | |

Ok , just wanted to make sure it was not a good funny story ...... like you were caught in the ladies room trying on clothes , or trying out the porta toilets in the hunting section .... I heard a good story of a lady that had returned so much stuff to walmat that she was banned on returing stuff ( tru story ) , so I had to ask ..... I know the quality of products at walmart had really come down as they have beat there supplies to the bone on price . I used to get some really good Hanes 4x tall tee shirts there and in just the last year they still say tall but come to my belly button , and fit like 3xl , and comparing it to shirts I got just a year ago they look like you can see right thru them ( thin ) . | |
