| What is the latest scoop on SXS's on the blacktop. We will have someone with us and they have never been to the area. We have never been stopped while on the roads in WV and if I was, I can play stupid real well!!! I don't want to get someone else in trouble. | |

| We passed the police in Welch on the road near KFC at the Spring Ride on Sundays ride and they never pay any attention to us.Also this past Monday at the Sterling Drive In I talked to the owner about if the Welch Police was harassing any riders and he said they have backed off and leaving riders alone. So I would not worry about it as Welch was the only place where the Police every said anything and that was just the one time and all the riding I have done up there I have never had any cops give me a second look. | |

| I’m thinking if we use common sense…….follow the speed limits, that might just keep them from writing tickets or giving out warnings. | |

| The last couple trips I have grabbed the slow moving sign off my tractor but we didn't get on the road much. Coming through Danville, Va last weekend I pulled in to trator supply and grabbed another slow moving triangle for the folks coming from Tn. to meet us just in case. We have not been stopped on the roads but have been checked twice on the H&M trails. We are adults so we don't do anything we shouldn't | |

| Permits and beer seems to be what they are looking for. The two times we were checked was on the H&M trail from the Ashland ATV Resort headed back to the trailhead. We usually take that and not the asphalt going toward Crumpler.
The last time we were stopped and as he was finishing up with us, around the corner came 4 guys on quads with no helmets. He said to us ..... no helmets I bet they don't have permits either!!!!!

I agree. I've been riding 4-wheelers & sxs all around w/w area for over 5 yrs & never even had a 2nd look from several law men I've met on roads & streets.
