| I need some help from the rhino guys before I take apart the front diff/servo on my Fo Fiddy... Went riding the other week and was riding pretty hard. I never heard my cooling fan come on so being the Dumb Ass that I am I started checking shit that wasn't broke. I was checking to see if my fan was getting power and checked it all the way back to the fuses/relays. I must have checked the wrong wire because I heard my servo try to engage and then it blew the 4X4 fuse. I replaced it let the rhino idle for about 5-10 min and the fan worked fine. I know I should have done that first but like I said I was a dumb ass. The 4X4 worked one time after that and now it will not do any thing. I have checked all the fuses, relays, and the wiring to the servo. Any idea what I screwed up and if its the servo how bad is it to replace. Do I have to remove the entire front diff to replace and where is a good place to purchase a good used one. I know a new one will cost a arm and a leg! Thanks for the help!! | |

| This much i know....The servo only operates on something like 6 volts DC, "testing" or introducing 12 Vdc will burn it up. maybe you crossed a wire somewhere. I have never had to mess with mine, but I know I read in the service manual that it runs on a lower voltage. As far as changing it, you might have to stand on your head but I think you can get to it without removing the front pig. Cost? who knows, Im betting your right it aint gonna be cheap! Try to read a voltage at the servo plug, rule out any of the wiring first before you start the demolition process. | |

| The front servo has a 3 amp fuse since it protects a motor the size of 1/2 roll of quarters. There used to be an ebay seller that sold that little motor for $50 but I can not locate the seller now. You can pick up a good used one on ebay for $150 or so...
