Bobby , I would send Hatfield and McCoy a Email and ask for a club discount and send your list of members attending . Maybe included that Ashland extents us a discount along with several Dealerships for our Business ....... Cant hurt to ask and then eveyone would be legal .......

I don't guess we will be riding any H/M trails as it's just an added expense to some members that don't get to ride very often.

i will for sure be there

OK I have some questions. I have a problem at work,,,,,I have more vacation time than I know what to do with . I can only cary 2 weeks threw my anaversary date in August so I have to kill 4 weeks of vacation before August in order to slip threw August with my max. I plan to come out and stay at Ashland Resort in July and ride for a week. There is a big group coming with me on that trip and i dont like leading when I have no clue where I am going. So those two points got me to thinking thinking. I could kill a week if i come out and do this spring ride. My isues are that I can not aford this trip and the one in July if i come out this time on my own so a guy at work said he would come with me and we would both just ride in my Ranger. We figured this ride would be a good scouting trip for our july trip. Now onto my questions. If I come i will NOT be towing my toy hauler in order to keep costs down. we will be tenting. What are the night temps like that time of year? Do I need to by any out of state trail stickers for my machine? I dont register it in Iowa cause there is nowhere to ride it so I by out of state stickers where ever I go but i have never read anything sugestiong WV has such a sticker let alone if i need one for these trails. Are there rides palned for ALL three days? I would be there thursday nite and wnat to ride all 3 days to make it more worth the drive. Which brings me to anouther point. It is a little over 1100 miles(19 hours) one way for me and i will be bringing my not quite 4 year old son with me so I want teh riding to be worth the agony of travaling that far with a todler with a blader the size of a walnut.

I'll be there unless I get transfered too far away by then. I'll wait until the end of Feb. before I commit to a camp site.

B_krukow...just post a couple weeks before your ride....theres always somebody from the club riding that time of year.....one of us will be happy to lead your group.....

I plan to post on here a little before our july trip but i am hoping to make it for the spring ride, I just need a little info so i know what to expect. The guy thats is coming with me for the spring ride will also be comingas part of our biger group in July so we both wana see the area and just get out of the house after this LOOONNGG winter. Like I said I need any excuse to take time off work so I dont lose it come August and I HATE sitting around the house. If teh other guy can convince his wife to let him go I will most likely make it, My wife already said go for it. She thinks I am nuts for wanting to bring our son along on such a long road trip but he travels well. This wont be his first cross country trip. So long as I get him a DVD player for the truck he will be happy.
