| just installed a front set progressive shocks. curious as to how many turns from bottom everybody is running the preload collars? and input as to ride quality. i have mine set at 5 at this point. witch gives me about 40mm of sag. close to whats recomended. i will start there to see if they soften after some good miles to break in. thanks dan | |

| I have my Progressives on the front set on about 9 threads up the preload. I guess it depends how you ride.....I have the rears set on 11. I like to go WAO which is why I have them set a lil higher. One thing is for sure even one complete revolution makes a big difference. |

| I added a 2 inch lift to the front and took out almost all of the pre-load. Have 12.5 inches of ground clearence now with stock tires and LOVE the ride. I still need to work on the back. | |

| I have a 2" lift in the front. I switched springs from the Progressive HDs to EPI HDs. I don't even need a lift in the rear anymore. It is perfectly level. I have it dialed in just about the way it should be IMO. | |

| I have the same rear springs on my stock rear shocks, really makes a big difference. The front are the standard Progressive 425s. GREAT shock | |

| I am pretty pleased. I really like the way Progressives ride, but the rears needed a little help. | |

| so far i just put the front on and the rear still rides like a buckboard. i think my rear shocks are shot. its like there is no valving for the rebound way to fast, snaps back up. but i'm still not real impressed with the progressive's. its hard to guage with the back so bad. the rears will be coming soon. that should make a world of differance. thanks for all the input LT. | |

| I love the Progressives. I have not bottomed the front shocks out yet. The rears just needed a stiffer spring. It suits me fine now. | |
