| Just wanting to know if any of the Rhino guys have used the Greaseless overdrive weights and if so where you happy with the results? What should I expect to gain or lose by installing them in my Rhino? | |

| a heck of a whole lot .talk to James on these and how much to shave off .But you might want a little more motor but with cam and shift weights .muzzy exhaust and a msd I could see you running maybe 50 mph and a real good bottom end all for about $1000.00 give or take. And hate to say it but Ray Ray is right | |

| As far as the OD weights ... you will have to use your stock sheave. If you are running a aftermarket sheave you would use the round greaseless weights. If you get the OD weights from Hunterworks they are suppose to already be ground down to help with the low end that was lost from the original design. If you get them from UTV Crap, I think they have not been ground down. If you are running stock height tires you may be OK without the weight mod. If you are running 27"+ you will need the mod. You can also shim the primary if you need a litttle more low end. | |

| the ones that are made right are still 20 thousands different on cam plate....im going to mill some out of the middle of the sheave to get the sliders (belt) lower with out using a shim | |

| If you plan to make the change, after you pull the side cover off, start the Rhino and in neutral and note how low the belt rides in the primary and high in the secondary. Now run the rpms up and watch how far the belt rides up in the primary and down in the secondary. With the sheave off and laying flat on your work bench with the stock weights still in the sheave notice where the cam plate sets by looking through the shaft hole. Now spend the next hour or more getting all the grease and dirt out of the sheave. Install the greaseless weights and lay it flat on the bench again. If the cam plate is riding higher off the sheave, you will be loosing low end if you install it like it is!! Pull the cam plate off and look at the OD weight how it fits in the sheave. With the wedge part (back side) of the OD weight pushed against the hub part of the sheave, Is the (bottom) round part all the way down in the sheave? If it is not and when you push the round part of the weight down in the sheave it causes the back side of the weight to rotate forward (wedge part away from the hub), it has not been ground to fit the sheave or not ground enough. When you install the sheave on the Rhino, start it up and let it idle in neutral. If the belt rides higher than it did stock, you have lost low end. Run the rpms up, if the belt rides higher in the primary, you have gained top end ..... if you have enough motor to run the belt that high when you put it in gear!! With the greasless setup you can leave the dust cover and o-ring off the sheave. When you are installing be sure to hold the cam plate and sheave together while you make sure you see shaft spline before you install the washer and spline before you install the nut. If you don't see spline and get the washer centered when installing the nut ..... you will have problems!!! | |

| Wouldn't it just be eaiser to go out and buy your self a RZR. That way you wouldn't be spending all of that time looking up stuff as you would be out doors rideing and enjoying your self!!!!! All problems solved with a single purchase. And then you could get in the Bubba Army and learn the top secert hand shake!!! | |

| If the Rzr's would have been available when I purchased the Rhino, I would have probably got a Rzr. If I would have left the Rhino stock I would have been a lot of money ahead but ..... | |

| i just installed a set on my neighbors 700 with the msd box from hunterworks. john loves it. motor is bone stock the clutch engagement is ten times smoother! ran it down the street with the 2 of us,roof front and rear windows 26 inch bighorns he hit 51 mph but had to let off for the corner i saw the speed on the gps.did not lose any bottom end and had more to go on top. for $399.00 free shipping the best $'s spent.todd at hunterworks is one of the best when it comes to the rhino's. getting reary to do another neighbors 700 also. hope this helped. | |

| Just left the Polaris/Yamaha dealer in Statesville.....Picked up the the piston and head for my wife's 250 trailblazer. Walked into the shop and counted 3 PO PO"s being worked on and they where not in there for basic service!! I don't recall seeing any Yamaha's in there but who knows......I own 3 polaris's and 2 Yamaha's and have had great service out of all of them! I just can't justify going into debt for something that sits in my building more than it's used! Besides if all of us Rhino owner bought RZR's we wouldn't have anything to talk about on this forum!!!!!! | |

| Ours is paid for so I don't plan to sell/trade. I am glad we purchased when we did because we would not be able to afford one now!!! The wife recently traded our dirt bikes for a Rincon. I think now she would rather have a Rzr. | |

I bet if you did some snooping around you would find that prolly about 2 of the 3 were warranty work...Most rhinos are out of warranty by now and like all of us we have to fix stuff our selves to save money if it's not under warranty. | |
