if your machine is stock and a 2010 or 2011 please watch my youtube video and tell me if you hear this with yours. I have not heard of anyone complaining about a noise when you first start that sounds like a spark knock or just a plain knocking noise. If you have had it please tell me what you did to fix it. With the box all the way unhooked the noise is not there. with it on setting 4 from hunterworks I can hear it but even weirder is on setting 1 which is suppost to be all stock setting it is even worse. Let me know what you think.
also from what I am understanding the msd does nothing for you machine if it is stock except raise the rpm and speed limiter? I was expecting to have more of the seat feeling by just adding this box like it did when I added a dynatek on my brute....... very disappointing.

I had one on my 2010 and it didnt seem to make that noise. As a matter of fact i still have the msd and would let it go for 250.00.And yes on mine it made a difference, but i had muzzys, hunterworks filter and adapter on it.I could definetly tell a improvement.I done wide open testing on the hardtop up a pretty much straight hill that is almost half a mile long and seen if i remember right prob 5mph improvment. But it was costly.

I know with a muzzy and all that it will make a difference but the way they market it, it should make a difference with just the box. it does not. why you selling yours?

Also i loved mine but i had the dreaded tranny problem and had to fight kawi to cover it when it was only 5 months old.In the end they did ,took 4 months to fix it but oh well. And for some reason when i got it back it had alot more power too.Defective bearing was the culprit by the way.I loved mine and really hated to sell it.

I put the muzzy on first and to be honest i could tell more of difference with it.I know i used setting 5.It had a sticker on it that was muzzy tune.It would go 63 on level ground, one person and i weigh about 180,and it did make a difference with passenger.

Yea still have msd.Sold the teryx.First i was going can am route but got tired of their waiting b.s,so i put a deposit on a 900 XP LE. I header wrapped my muzzys and everything.Had zero heat issues on it.My buddys run really hot,but i think he had first version though.also watch pulling hard with front bumper,i got stuck and my buddy literally pulled the front bumper off destroying it.Wish i knew how post pics i could show you.The Vtwins do sound awsome!! But sorry, no muzzys let them go with machine

well I played with it last night and really nothing came out of it. I did notice though once the machine warmed up the noise went away. and did not come back once warm. I know the stock computer richens the machine up til it gets warm so I wonder if a to rich condition is causing it. last night as it was making noise I couldnt figure out how to change the fuel and when I figured it out the damn this stopped making it. so tonight when I get home I am going to lean it out as it making the noise and see if it goes away. If it does though I dont know how to fix it cause the stock ecu is making the rich condition and leaning out the msd at idle will way lean it out after warm. any thoughts??????

sounds like a set of pipes and a filter might be a good solution.

I have muzzys on mine with an extended warranty and no problems. I would just call the dealer and ask

well guess i will call them and send it back. Todd told me after everything to check the voltage on the tp sensor. it suppost to be between 1.0 and 1.24 volts and it is 1.11 so I am done. I will try another and hope it works. when the noise is going leaning it out and riching it up the noise dont change. changing the timing back or up dont change it. so DAMN
