| Not sure , I talked to HRR today about a Fiberglass / Metal piece that would cover the entire Rear of the cage ( under the top ) to house speakers , Amp , 2 way radio , lights ETC ..... I gotta kinda mock it up and then he will take it form there ...... I will also be looking at puttting a set of speakers under the dash . I have some ideas but will probably let HRR finish it in metal . When its all done it should sound pretty good . | |

| Ok , I did some Research the other night and found a guy who said this setup worked well , and it was in my understanding of how to do things .... Sooooo... 6" pvc cap Had to cut a 1 1/2" ring for the inside of the cap to give the speaker someting to screw too .... What the speaker looks like installed This little fella lost his stuffing for the install Since there is a lack of Air space one site suggested packing with poly fill ( pillow foam ) to help with this and improve sound in a small box setup like this ..... new to me but can't let the litte critter die in vain so ..... As the factory seal for the speaker will not reach the pvc I will need to IMPLANT some silocne at the final install ........ Now for the hard part , do I put them on the outer edges ( yes there is room ) Or do I mount them in the center side by side .... I did look at using a 45 6" pipe which would have made the speakers be at a angle pointing out ( $4 cheaper but was unsure of the space it would need to mount ) . In the end I will paint fusion Black so that it is not so stark to look at , What is you opion ? | |

| Just a thought but I would mount them overhead on the back of your roof. Thats assumming you have a roof. This would protect them much better from the water and mud. Of the pics you showed I would mount them on the sides like the first pic. | |

| There will be another set of Speakers overhead , and these are Marine grade speakers so as some of the others have told me water is not a problem on the front side of the speaker , its the rear of the speaker that does not do well with water . JWS will be building my over head speaker box , as soon as I figure out what I want and a weekend we both can get together and take care of it . I plan to put on one of his roofs as the same time so getting money together is another thing ..... | |

| I thouht I had seen someones pic with the speakers mounted there , was hoping you would post up and let me know if I was headed in a good direction. went to Lowes to get fusion paint ( seems that is a walmart thing ) he gave me 123 primer and said any paint would work from there .... may still go to walmart and get the fusion , I know Neromax said it worked well on the stuff he used it on and was durable . Plus one coat of Fustion versus 2 coats ( one primer 123, then black paint ) across the speaker , you know its goin to get in there . these speakers are made together not a seperate grill and speaker soooo hope it works .... | |

| Ok , Today they came together, first was a coat of Fusion Paint . The 123 primer and enamel paint did not bond well in the test I did ( Paint guy at lowes swore it would ) ..... Couple coats and gotta say this stuff work and dries in like 15 min , hardes part was getting the grid and not getting it so thick that it ran or mess up the speaker .... What it all looks like together in the RZR ...... All most hard to see even when you are sitting in the machine it just blends in with the floor . Now I am on the search for speaker wire as the kit had everything except that ..... Another ..... | |
