| Hey ya'll, I'm thinking about buying some beadlock wheels for my rzr and trying to figure out the pros and cons with them. I know that mud will pack up in the wheel more and they will not break loose from the wheel ...but other than that can some of you that have beadlocks give me some feed back on them? Thanks. | |

| If you want a set then go buy them! How many times have you knocked your tires off the wheel????? You know what!!!! Why don't you take the money you would spend on wheels and go buy you some common sense! I hate stupid azz people!!! | |

| One more question...how wide of a tire can I get away with. I'm going with 26" Swamp lites. They come in 9" for front and 10' for rear...or...10" for front and 12" for rear. I am running 1.5 spacers. No lift kit...but my shocks let me lift it a good bit. | |

I run 9's on the front & 11's on the back I don't like them sticking out real far and I have no spacers on the front and 1" on the rear. | |

| Even a PO-PO gets lucky every now and then!!! If that would have happened to a POS PO-PO we would have hat to tow it to the dealer for a REBUILD!!! | |

| beadlocks are nice but way to $$$$$. and most beadlocks are only beadlocks on the outside of the rim. that leaves the inside to come off the bead. it does not happen on the inside very much but the beadlocks are to keep the tire on the bead at low air pressure so there is more of a chance the inside bead will break. for me if i was going to buy the beadlocks for what they are made for i would get a set that both sides lock. |

| I am with everyone else the only downside to beadlocks is the price. Personally I have never needed them BUT now that I have said that I am sure I will roll one off the bead! | |

| another benefit is you can change your tires at some with bead locks. Thats why alot of racing people run them. They can change the tires fast. |

| Well...he put a machined sheave on it and got it up to a whopping 40mph. Then his wifey rode it and that is where the fast and furious FO-FIDDY got slowed down to a crawl. Now the new top speed is 22mph with a tail wind... ...she just don't want her baby getting hurt. | |

| Ok -- I have ITP Beadlocks with BigHorns on my Rhino. I purchased them after unseating a bead three times. The final straw was having the rear Mudlite XTR come off in 10F weather. Setting a bead in the cold is dang near impossible. That was even at 12 psi. Enough was enough sepecially given that the Rhino cut too many tires at 10+ psi. Anyway -- I have had the Beadlocks for several years and run 6 psi all around and love them. I have sliced two sidewalls since I have had them. I'm OK with that given that I have not unseated a bead since buying the beadlocks. Two weekends ago I had the Rhino and my daughter with me in the Wagon Wheel area on a ride with my TTB buddies. I hit something really hard with the passenger side front tire. Hit so hard that it jammed my thumb. Anyway I kept riding but felt the Rhino pulling to the right hard. I figured I screwed up the front end. We stopped several miles later and my front tire was totally flat. I rode with a flat tire for probably 20 minutes. Amazing!! Plugged the sidewall and was back riding. Inside bead never unseated. Made me a bigger fan of beadlocks!! The benefit of easy tire changes I am unsure about. When I lost my rear Bighorn last year I was gonna change it in my garage. No issue getting the beadlock side off but the inside would not budge. I fought it for 30 minutes and tried driving my ATV on it using a 2x6 but it did not uunseat from the inside. The Bighorns grip the inside of the ITP Beadlocks incredible. I ended up taking it to a tire shop. My beadlocks with Bighorns ran approx $750 when I purchased them. This was by far the best purchase I have made for the Rhino. Better ride due to loweer air pressure and no issues with unseating a bead. Its a Win-Win!! | |

| I will have to admit that when I had mudlites on the FO-FIDDY that I was always knocking the tires off the wheels...But since I moved up to 26/10/12 swamp witches on the front I havn't had any problems!!! Now that I think about it it may be the Governor that my wife added that solved the problem!! | |
