| We all know there are good & bad out there. And yes, the 1st year production is sometimes tuff for anyone. Some company's hit it on the head & some just flat out miss. I believe we all have read on one of our other threads, if we could mix & match from all of the machines out there we would make a hell of a machine. It would be Yamaha, Polaris, Honda & etc. combo machine. | |

| It's all in how hard you ride. They are all junk...atv stuff underneath a machine that weighs twice as much. If Toyota would only build a sxs... | |

| To address Tbones post.. as it seems he has a complex against XP's.. maybe compensating for something...not sure Hose clamps are weak, I read about it, and replaced mine before it left the house.. 15 minutes and no problems in 100 miles. This caused many early XP's to shoot off the hose. I haven't heard, or seen anyone complain about the stock air filter. Rode mine in sand all day saturday and no problems, seems like a big improvement of the old location. I did read, and saw pictures of the melting issue.. however it looks like they already addressed it with shielding, mine came with it already and no heat issues there. I have heard the tires that come stock have weak sidewalls.. probably true not taking chances.. before fall ride i will replace. But I seem to remember a canned ham having two large holes in the sidewall on the spring ride. I agree they should put better tires on.. I have heard about the bent axles.. but I guess if you have a machine that you jump that makes alot of power and you stay on the throttle your likely to break things.. not sure it would matter what machine you own. Tranny smooth as silk.. Again.. I am just speaking from my experience of first hand riding with it.. I did have a loose aarm bolt on mine.. I caught it before the ride.. but the factory, and the dealer should not have missed it.. It is truly a different feel than my old rzr.. I was feeling guilty spending the money after I bought it.. that was before I rode it on the trails... I am going to have some additional wrinkles from SMILING so much! | |

| Oh don't worry gun pilot. I think the xp people are compensating.
In all seriousness I do like the xp. I like them all. Mr pooooooolaris on here just said Polaris was the best and cannot be beat. That's far from the truth. I'm trying to keep mr Polaris in check. Truth is commander is new....will have some gremlins. Xp is new.....will have some gremlins. It's just reality. I'm glad you got it! Looks good! That's what everyone needs to do is buy what they want and what fits their needs. After that we need to ride! |
