? for those who have painted their plastics

How did you prep it? What type of paint did you use?
I am thinking of painting my buggy Kawi green , it's red now, I am thinking of using nason enamal. Maybe go light on the hardener?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I went the cheap way, I used Krylon and it came out great. Just rough it up good with a fine grit paper and paint. It has held up very well considering the conditions we ride in. I know a lot of people have gone with an auto paint with a flex agent in it. I am sure HRR will chime in, he owns a body shop and is a paint man.

PM Pit bull he painted his green...I think...

I painted my old Rhino with Krylon fusion. I just used scotch brite pads and ajax to ruff it up and the wiped down with paint thinner.

I am going to use Plasti Dip, still reading up on it, sounds good, just peel off when tired of color, apply new color

Do you know what it would cost...

from what i read, I will need 4 or 5 cans @ 6.00 each = around 30.00,I am going to order direct from Plasti Dip, 2 reasons 1- I have read that the stuff at Homedepot has been sitting around awhile, and they very between date on can and how smooth they go on, 2nd they have a Ultra Blue on web, not in stores

I saw this one and was very impress with the result , and was impressed with how it held up to pressure washer and mudd and grit , cool thing was he did it in flat which really stuck out .

I have thought about painting mine to and with the little research I have done it looks like if you apply bulldog adhesion after cleaning and sanding it helps the paint bond to the plastic and possible last longer. That is just from reading the Internet maybe someone else here has had experience with it and can say if it really works any better or not I'm curious to know ?
