| The tranny is behind the transfer case and takes 24 oz of purple fluid. The tranny has the shifter lever and cable attached to it. The big fill plug is also the check plug hole on the tranny. Fill until it comes out of the fill plug hole.
The transfer case is in front of the tranny and takes 14 oz of purple fluid. The big fill plug is not the check hole. The transfer case has a small check hole down low angled toward the ground a bit. It's a bitch to put back in for me. I quit taking it out. I just add 14 onces plus a bit and let it go.
The drain plug for the transfer case is about dead center the skid plate just in front of the rear tires. Be careful with it. I striped the drain hole last time and $127 later the dealer put a Time-Cert in it.

| The drain plugs were all but impossible to find on mine, so I just go ahead and drop the skids. They get heavy with all the mud on top, but it's alot easier to do the job. Plus, you get rid of 50lbs of mud too. | |
