| I came across a 09 Ranger 500 with around 30 hours, has a top and 6x12 trailer for $8600. Not sure how old trailer is but will ask, pics of it looks ok. This guy is about 5 hours from me, guess that is why I am thinking this isn't that great of a deal and haven't jumped on it yet.
What do you guys think??
I know Abernathy has the 500 for around $8500 new, but will I have to pay taxes (I'm in NC)???? Also they are around 9 hours from me!!! Would get the 700 anyway if buy new.
For now I will probably go with a utility trailer, since my Ridgeline cant tow a lot. Prices of new 6x12 trailer are right at $1k. Not seeing too many used ones. | |

| Well according to Kelly Blue Book, Suggested retail value of it is $8315 and trade in is $5750. I honestly say its worth looking at since it is what you want and it comes with a trailer. 30 hours on it is not many hours at all. Is the guy firm on the $8600? I'm saying that's a good deal for what you want. I'm not sure what kind of shape the Ranger or Trailer is in, but I'd check in to it. Just | |

| Go ahead and buy the new 700 Ranger 6 month or less down the road you will have wished you had the bigger motor I know I had a Ranger 500 for a year and put 2,500 to 3,000 miles on it and even though the 500 is not bad there are times when you wished you had the extra power.Cheaper to get what you really want now than to have to trade up again later or be unhappy for years | |

| I say go with the new Ranger. Big difference in alot of things on the new Rangers. All for the better of course. If I had not got a RZR, I would have a new Ranger XP | |
