Has anyone ever tried this battery as a replacement for the RZR? I measured it and according to the listed dimensions, it should fit in the battery compartment without any mods. The specs are very similar to the Odyssey 925, but it's quite a bit cheaper.

| I priced a new stock battery today and they quoted me $119. I laughed at them. The stock battery really sucks, if I was gonna use another stock battery, I would definitely use two. But not at that price. | |

| I get 20% off parts, so that helps, but i have been buying from them for a while. some things i can get cheaper elsewhere at times but not worth the overall savings. | |

| I've got optima red full size car batteries under the drivers seat. The new lithium ferrous battery is the way to go, 7 to 10 year life n only 8lbs but they are a bit salty. This fall I will be pulling reds out for those. | |

| I've been looking for a replacement battery and I think the more I dig into it the more confused I get. Just wondering what everyone uses on here. Seems like most people use the Odyssey 925L. I like the price of these at battery mart but don't want to spend the money and end up having to buying the Odyessy later.. I've got a stereo, small amp, hid's,and a winch. would the battery mart battery be enough for what I have? | |

I bought a Magnapower EXT30LA from advance for $109.00. They list this battery for $139.00 but will sell it cheaper. It has similar specs to the Odyssey. It's AGM technogoly just like the Odyssey and has more cold cranking amps. It fits in the RZR stock battery compartment without any mods being made. I also have a winch and a stereo with a 400 watt amp and I haven't had any trouble yet. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_12-Volt-Sealed-AGM-Premium-Batteries-for-Power-Sports-Applications-MagnaPower_16940019-P_40_A%7CGRP60054_____

| I started having battery problems last fall and found out if I keep a battery tender on it at home between rides it solved the problem.....I have a stock 09 rzr with no stereo system or winch.....I know one thing...you can't have a weak agm battery and expect the rzr 500 watt alt. to keep it charged...with your stereo and lights running....it just ain't gonna happen | |

Funny thing is I called the Advance auto near my work , they did not even show the battery, called another and they carried Magna power but could not get this battery , called another store and that guy told me that not all stores can get that battery , so he did a search ( don't know why the 2 previous stores would not do this ) and told me of the last store that had 2 of them . They priced matched to $109 just as you said and will put it in as soon as the sun stops cooking my garage ( its like 100 degrees out there ) . I know sometimes its a pain to do these write ups , but you saved me $30 , plus this is not even listed to fit the RZR so I would not have know to even look for it . Writeups liike this is what I come to these forums for , this site and its vendor and members have saved me lots of money , answered tons of question , and is the reason I keep riding , other wise with just the dealer to turn too I would have gotten out of this sport long time ago . Thanks Thunter............
